PLEASE CHECK YOUR EDITS TAB FREQUENTLY!|
Keeping and maintaining our relatives.
Redistributing the other memorials to someone we know will take care of them and isn't interested in collecting dead people like normal people collect friends.
NOTE: If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to be a manager, please make arrangements to transfer your memorials to someone who is active and cares about the accuracy of the information. This really will help reduce duplicates, which we notice with increasing frequency.
If you place memorials and don't come back, or you refuse or neglect to fix them, link them, etc., they are as abandoned as many of the graves we encounter in cemeteries, only you have now abandoned these people twice.
It would also be a good idea to leave a family member or friend instructions on how to make transfers of your memorials in the event of your own untimely death.
In addition, it's not up to you to make new FAG rules regarding anything.

"Ancestors are nice to have
We could hardly do without them
And if they made the page of fame
We strut and boast about them.
But there are those who think that souls
Who have lived out life's brief span
Still hang around their earth's abode
To watch the works of man.
So when I think of ancestors
Who have crossed the Great Divide
I wonder if they view my life
With the same exultant pride."

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Mary Elizabeth Frye, 1932.

Hi, I am doing some research on the Huff family of Warren County, Pennsylvania, and I had a question about Mary Magee Huff (Find A Grave Memorial#: 80198060), wife of Benjamin Huff. I was wondering what your source was for her maiden name. The memorial states that she was the son of Thomas Magee and sister of James Magee, and I was wondering if you could point me to a genealogy or county history book that mentions it. I really would like to verify her maiden name, and any help you could give me would be very much appreciated! Thank you!

I went to Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland today looking for the markers of Jay, Ralph, and Clarence Allender. There are only two makers in that lot, John B and Amne I. The office confirmed Jay and Ralph as being buried there but have no record of Clarence. Would you like the photo of the lot posted to their memorials?

Oops! Yes, Viola.

Would you like me to transfer them to you???
Any family member does a better job then we who create the memorial.
|Zella||Patty Adams Plumer Clark|
Nice to place Patty with her family. A little confusion on the husband's name - records online says Rev. Cyrus AKA George Clark, which seems a bit far-fetched. Am thinking she may have married twice. Neither a George or a Cyrus of the right age group on the 1860 census in Summit Co. Death index says she was the wife of George.
I have not photographed Section C yet - will be interesting to see if there is an extant monument for her - maybe I can check next weekend.

Would you like him transferred to you?
I'm sure it's part of that bigger problem of Find A Grave. Earlier today, there were two photos on this memorial and neither were for him!! The first guy removed his after we communicated. I just checked and now your is gone, too. What a week Find A Grave has had!
And the gal that DID take the photo I needed couldn't post hers! thanks

I may have seen "England" on William's census entry for his parents. I have removed England from my records for Clara. However, are you going to post the rest of the bio I sent?
|Kathy||Joyce Roberta Galvin Alexander|
Thank you for the additional information about Joyce!
Are you related? I am not, and would be happy to transfer her and her husband to someone who knows them.
