Bio and Links
Bio Photo My mother left me a treasure before she died - her hand scribbled notes about her family lineage. It was just a few generations back - names, marriages, locales and some dates. She had talked about our ancestry many times before but I was too busy working a full time job and raising children to really be interested until now. It has been a journey of discovery which continues as a passion today. I hope to connect with unknown relatives through this site or to provide connections for others who aren't related to me. Roots are important as they are footprints of history and of our ancestors contribution to it. Enjoy the ride and may God bless you and yours.

question regarding family
I'm researching my family genealogy and hope you can assist me.

Have you heard of a Ruby Ethel Findley? My father is mentioned on Aunt Shirley's page.

Thanks

RE: Pitman Cemetary
Their gravestone memorials have been created and since the gravestones have FINDLEY on them, I put their surname as FINDLEY.

They are in the Pitman Cemetary in Muldoon, Fayette, Texas.

George Walter Findley, FAQ144533941

Mary A E Lundy Findley, FAQ144534105

George W. Fendley's father was from Ireland and they are different spellings, Fendley, Findley, Finley, etc.

Apparently this was how they spelled their surname.

RE: Oscar Fendley #113993260
Your request has been completed, have added Annie Laurie "Jean" Rumfolda, as a daughter of James Oscar Fendley and Mattie May Taylor.

Additionally, in the same cemetery, LaGrange Cemetary, you will find Lizzie Rodgers Fendley, wife of John Walters Fendley. Same Fendley family.

Recently the Findley gravestones in the Muldoon Cemetary are George Walter Fendley born December 26, 1845, Greenville, Butler County, Alabama and died April 30, 1912, LaGrange, Fayette, TX and the gravestone of his wife, Mary A E Lundy Fendley by one of the daughters of Merle Lee Fendley Price, in the Muldoon Cemetary.

Rebecca, sorry, I have no info. Stopped at this cemetery just once while driving through and added a few photos to FG. Sorry I can't help.
