I'm a lifelong resident of Broken Arrow, OK. I seem to be a genealogist for all branches of my families - both on my side AND on my husband's. Some surnames I am tracing are Lee, Davis, Tinney, McClure, Croco, Colyott, Yandell, Cotner, Humble, Dickerson, Wiggins, and Cloyd.
I am glad to have a part in sharing information on this website. I believe we owe a debt to those who have lived before us, and part of that is repaid by not allowing them to fade from memory. I am happy to do corrections and updates, and if you find a relative among those memorials I maintain, I am more than happy to transfer them to you, unless I am more closely related! Visiting so many cemeteries I am always saddened at the graves that are unadorned and seemingly forgotten. Those feelings inspired me to write the following. . .
I Will Remember
I know not how you came here –
only whether early in life or late.
Was your passing something expected,
or was the shock of it quite great?
Is there anyone left standing
who was witness to that day?
Or have they – along with the memories
they held of you - now all slipped away?
Although it's true that I never knew you,
And it's true that you never knew me -
I'll just stand here a quiet moment
hoping that somehow you will see.
Maybe I'm not a dear loved one
And it isn't quite the same - -
But I will pause to leave a small token
And I will remember your name.

NOTE**** May 2012 - - I am part of a team receiving management of Charlie Crocker's memorials in PARK GROVE CEMETERY in Broken Arrow. Let me know if you have additional information on any of the memorials I hold there. I will try to get to the corrections as soon as possible, but there are a LOT of memorials!

Janet, I am happy to do it. I find it odd that the office can not find her since she does have an obit posted. As I said I will keep her on my list of people to look for on future trips to the cemetery to fill photo request.
