I enjoy being able to find information online and helping people connect with their families. I take a lot of pictures of grave markers and trying to find death certificates and adding them to memorials.|
I don't do it for the numbers, I do it for the families.
My families are Bush family from Carroll County, Woods from gibson and Weakley counties, Wood from Gibson County and Henderson County. Barr family from Gibson County and Carroll County.
Please don't DUPLICATE memorials in Cemeteries it makes it confusing for some people. If I entered them in F.A.G. first I don't mind transferring to family members. I work real hard on Find A Grave entering names and pictures. If I make a mistake(and I do make mistakes sometime) I will gladly delete mine.
Because so many people add data to Find A Grave, there are often duplicate cemeteries and duplicate memorials added. This is a very common situation and is quite difficult to resolve in a way that keeps everyone happy. Before adding a memorial, you should search the cemetery to see if a record with that name has already been added. I often look thru cemetery memorials, and if I see a duplicate, I try to contact the person that entered the duplicate entry, according to the date entered. I hope no one resents this, but there should be only one entry per person.
If you find a memorial has been added but has incomplete or incorrect information, instead of creating a duplicate memorial you should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial.

As I was pulling this one up to add a volunteer photo, I noticed that something is wrong with the wording on this one. I thought you might want to check it as it has something inserted in it that is not meant to be there.

My memorial is #145623742. You and I were probably adding close to the same time! I have already added the pictures to mine after we had to do a lot of work to clean up the monument area. If you would delete yours, I would appreciate it. Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave!!

I believe you have Alia Persons Bell listed in the wrong Forest Hill Cemetery. You show her as being buried in Forest Hill-South and that cemetery was not established until 1962 (she died in 1943). I believe she should be in the Forest Hill-Midtown Cemetery, which is the original Forest Hill Cemetery.

I want to thank you so much for taking the time to get this photo. This is my Aunt and I no longer live in Tennessee but Ohio. I know the effort that goes into taking photos at some cemeteries due to overgrowth etc.
