RE: Moore / Hickman
Hi Heather;

Thank you for your contributions to Findagrave and memorials. Another researcher was able to find Victoria Ward, who died in 1981, in Sarah Ann, Logan County; but the grave location is currently unknown. As the Moore family members are in different cemeteries in the Kanawha Valley, her location will eventually be found. As both Fred W. Moore and Victoria Alma Ward Moore, had brothers buried in the Handley Cemetery, it seems like that is the most likely place of burial. I'll go up to the Raleigh County Public Library next week and see if they have microfiche newspapers for Logan County for the year of 1981. The online records with Fred W. Moore; or census records end with 1940. Eventually an obituary should be found. Thank you--Jerry M. Weikle

RE: Moore / Hickman
Hi Heather;

I was wondering where Victoria Alma Ward Moore and Fred Moore were buried. Fred was a brother of Myrtle Mae Moore who married Thomas Hickman. I had thought maybe that Alma and Fred are buried over in the Lady Dunn Cemetery. Should I delete the Thomas Hickman memorial, that I created this morning, as it would have duplicated the one you created? Thomas and Myrtle had two daughters, Freda Hickman Scott, and Mary Ellen Hickman. Where would Myrtle Mae Moore Hickman, be buried?

I'm not a direct relation to them, but Victoria Alma Ward Moore, is my Great Aunt. I don't know where she is buried at or have seen an obituary for her, despite searching.

Thank you;

Myrtle Mae Moore husband Thomas Hickman
Thomas Hickman was buried in the Dunn Cemetery, as well as an infant child, Mary Ellen Hickman. Thomas Hickman had married Myrtle Mae Moore.

I'm not directly related to them; but Victoria Alma Ward had married Fred Moore, who was a brother of Myrtle Mae Moore Hickman. Alma Ward, she was a half sister of my Grandfather Garfield Ward.

Heather, would you be so kind as to add the photo of Claude's grave marker to the memorial of his wife, Ruth A Johnson? I would really appreciate it.

RE: Guy Sutherland
A transfer would be great. I just found a census from 1940 showing Guy and Jessie had two children. I knew of Louise, but just found out the boy was named Keith which my mom was then able to say "oh, that's right!" Thanks for all you've done. God bless you.
