Bio and Links
Bio Photo When you've passed your Medicare Birthday, it's hard to tell a "short" story, especially about yourself.
I'm a Navy brat, so we were never from anywhere. We gave our grandparents address in Oklahoma as home. When asked what church we belonged to, it was Protestant chosen from Protestant, Catholic or Jewish. And our favorite hymn was the Navy one, "Eternal Father, Stong to Save".
My childhood goal was to have a cattle ranch with my Dad, but he stayed in the Service; and I went off to Oklahoma A & M to seek my own life partner, family & fortune.
My first husbands and I parted ways.
So, I perservered; moved East instead of West; and finally met that life partner with whom I've lived, loved and raised goats for over thirty years now.
When my parents died in 2007 after nearly 70 years together, my sister & I inherited boxes of the family memories. My goal with FindaGrave is to link & preserve their family lines, i.e. Junks & Buhrings for Dad and Gregorys & Morgans for Mom. Other surnames are In-Laws or Step-Families. Generally, we are related to all these folks by chance or by choice.
George Bernard Shaw was quoted to say, "If you can't get rid of the family skeleton, you may as well make it dance!" I have tried to do so in numerous cases :0)
If I can help anyone else along the way, it will be my pleasure. I have enjoyed my first two years here. Hope others will too. JT

Geo. Junk pics
Hello Jeanne,

You and my wife's cousin, Joe Livingston, have been talking about the Junk family recently and my wife told me to contact you and let you know that she has several pics of Geo. A. Junk (II) that we would be glad to share with you if you are interested. We would also be interested in any info you might have on that end of the family.

Regards,

Ken & Joyce Hudson

Longsworth
Thank you for contacting me in regards to Basil and Elizabeth Longsworth. I'm surprised that I did not make the connection originally. I usually do that right away if they are related and I have the grave. Are you related to the Longsworths? I am a direct descendant of the Boyer line.
Thanks again for contacting me.

RE: Charles & Kate Boerstler
There are three other Boerstlers buried at Mountian View - in the same plot area. Unfortunately they do not have grave markers. I did down load photos as to general location. The reference stone is a Lela Beck who is buried nect to Kate Boerstler.

RE: Daniel & Lavina Boerstler Obituary
I am glad it helps answer questions. I have been slowly trying to link up the obits from the Van Buren County Genealogy webpage to the findagrave memorials and creating memorials for those who don't have any.
