I live In Southern California. I have family buried in CA,WA,OR,VA,OK,OH,MI,HI,TX,. |
I have been working on my family tree in one form or another for about 20 years. First it was just getting family names, birth and death dates and where they were born. I put this info all in EXCEL. And than about five years ago I saw a comercial for a certain Ancestry website. Went and checked it out, and I was hooked. I found a great FREE ancestry program, and the rest is history.
Most of my family names are back east. My Grand parents on my fathers side of the tree.. are Bolda and Steslicki.
Other family names are, Wikarski, Welinska, Leech, Kijek, Nowosatko.
And My Mother is out west, and her names are O'neill, Gahagan, Ward, Tamminen, Lippanen, Ramage, Odening, Devine, Gale and Davenport.
My Daughters lines are Meler, Fuller, Poet and Mason.
And My husband's Lines are Wilson, Blackburn, Van Haselen, Fuller, Stout, Hulst.
I would like to THANK everyone that has already added some of my realtives to this site. I have been able to complete some missing information.

The Bolda's I listed were the ones you had put on Find A Grave. There must be at least 70 of the Boldas. Yes the streets are on the East Side of Detroit and I know of them. I live in Redford Twsp,Mich.,,if you cross a street you could be in Detroit.We are in the West Side. Yes, all the ones I listed are all buried in Mt. Olivet. They changed the name to Bolde.Take care. Vivian

|KAREN T||RE: John Lesnau.|
i uploaded the picture of the sign of section 1 and an overview of what section 1 looks like.
unless he has a stone the cemetery can dig up, i cannot get specific as his exact location. The map they gave me for section 1 has no names on it so its almost impossible.

You are very welcome. On the Thomas Wilson stone, there are three homemade "W" stones with no way of telling if any of them are his so I chose not to shoot any of them. Perhaps whoever has the cemetery records would be able to identify the proper one.
what documentation do you have for a wife of Joseph, son of Joseph and Ruth Stout?
95 . JOSEPH STOUT 50. COL JOSEPH STOUT 10. JONATHAN STOUT
2. RICHARD STOUT 1. JOHN STOUT
Joseph Stout, a son of Col. Joseph and Ruth Greenland Stout, was born in Hopewell, NJ about 1714 and died there in 1770. He married Rebecca Grover.
Known children of Joseph and Rebecca Grover Stout viz: Grover, Saftz, Joseph, and one daughter name Esther, who married Peter Sortor. (Stout, Nathan, "History of the Stout Family" 1823 p. 7)
268. (1). Grover
m. daughter of James Mitchell
269. (2). Saftz b. d.
270. (3). Esther b. 1751 d.
m. Peter Sortore
271. (4). Joseph b. 1760 d. 1811

I didn't see any other family stones, but a quick search of Mt. Olivet's website shows three other relatives in the same section(Frank, August, and Veronica):
Maybe you could contact the cemetery and have them raise the stones if they exist, or mark the gravesite if they don't.
|Wayne Williams||RE: Martin Lee Gahagen|
So by my calculations William and Elizabeth Lantz Gahagan are our common ancestors. Small world. ;-)
