"Families are like brownies really sweet with a few nuts"|
I started working on my Family Tree in the early 1980's. Then I got my brother John and his wife Joyce interested. Later his daughter Fran Slater started helping. Now my brother Al helps. We have over 30,600 individuals and over 4700 pictures in our tree. I really enjoy working on it and helping others find information. I am willing to share any information that I have in my file. If I have made any errors I really would appreciate someone letting me know.

The building is locked ans special arrangements need to be made with the township trustees as there is no cemetery office as such.

You are very welcome!I took more today, but my camera needs recharging before I can download. I do intend to cover the entire cemetery in the next few days and weeks.Hope to find more people for everyone. Diane
I'm about to add the photo requested, and noticed he was buried within an older Bannerman plot. Are you related to the Bannermans of Tallahassee? I've been trying to find the Bannerman Cemetery, somewhere near the GA border off of highway 12, but on private property. thanks!

My pleasure. An August day in Texas! I must have been mad!! Fortunately, there were several shade trees in this lovely cemetery. Glad you liked the photos. F.A.G. is such a great community. Kathryn

I also added pictures for Charles & B. Elizabeth (Stauffer) Lodge. Is that their daughter?

Kate, you are very welcome. If you ever decide to add a marker of any sort, I'd be more than happy to photograph it for you.

These pictures were taken at about 10AM. The Derby Center cemetery is very large and overlooks a lake... it is about 15 miles each way for me to drive. The day I took these shots, the temperature was already in the 80's, and I was trying to find 14 different people. Yours were the only ones found before the sweat overcame me and I just had to get out of the sun.
I can't promise you when I will get back up there, but I have made a note to give it a shot at some point.

I'm glad I could help, Kate!
