Licensed professional geologist, State of Utah, Retired (2006), also MSgt, U S Air Force, Retired (2005). Vietnam Veteran, (1969-1973). Active participant in Operation Linebacker II, 18-29 Dec. 1972, when nearly 2700 sorties dropped around 17,860 tons of ordnance on North Vietnam. Losses were 26 downed U S aircraft, including 15, B-52s.

Enjoying my retirement years fishing and/or target shooting with my grandsons. Family history research fills in the left over hours!!

It was my pleasure. When I went to the cemetery, Mr. Hansen and family was sitting around the headstone talking. Had to interrupt them to get the picture. Very nice family.

Sarah Yates Smith

I got your message yesterday about Sarah Yates Smith. This is also my great-great grandmother (through her 3rd child Myrtle Luella). Who do you descend through?

I have an website that covers my family history. Sarah is here: I haven't added a lot of the Smith information yet.

Anyway, if you would like to add the information to findagrave, I would be happy to transfer it to you (even though she is a direct relative). Also, would you like to contribute to the Smith's online? I can add you as an administrator to the webpage.

Oscar and Ernestine Hastings are buried in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Ground Section K, Lots 19 & 20.
