Anthony Bernard dit Lafontaine
Hi Teresa,
Anthony Bernard dit Lafontaine is my 4th great grandfather.
I've found him in "Genealogy Of The French Families Of The Detroit River Region Revision 1701-1936" Revision 1987.
They only have two wives for him; Catherine Suzor and Susanne Rau. I am finding some census that have someone with the same name with other wives but I'm hesitant to say for sure. Can you please tell me where your information regarding the other wives came from?
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks much,
Maureen McKenzie Lueder

Also has history, see p. 572. I am not related. Enjoy, I am glad I could help. County histories are treasures.

Calvary in Washburn, WI
I'll do what I can to locate your family. I'll be in that area in about a month. I do wish you'd send me an email so I could contact you at your address when I'm ready.

The links are made. I am not related. If you are, would you like a transfer?

St Antoine and St Joseph Cemeteries
Hello Teresa,

You are probably familiar with both of these cemeteries in Monroe. St Antoine no longer exists and I'm led to believe that St Joseph superseded it. Find A Grave lists both cemeteries. Do you know of a convenient way to distinguish between them?

Thanks, Al

Gertrude Soleau
I added the grave photo to your memorial and deleted mine. Sorry for my typo! I add her name when I was photographing the cemetery probably about a year ago and she is listed on a companion marker with her husband.

RE: Gertrude Soleau (Liedel)
Oh, I see, he forgot the "r" from Gertrude; that's why I didn't find it. There's nothing I can do about that other entry, as I do not control it. You will need to contact Mr. Witkowski. I would ask him to transfer it to you - she was your grandmother, I cannot imagine why he would not. I will transfer my memorial to you, then you can combine them as you see fit. Good luck!

RE: Gertrude Soleau (Liedel)
I did a search on Gertrude Soleau, and only found one entry, #63395672. Can you give me the other number?
