Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a grandmother, 52 years old. I lost my 18 y.o. son 13 years ago. I found this site by accident and was amazed at the people who spend their time helping others, asking nothing in return. What a beautiful gift to our world.
I live in NE Florida in Flagler County half way between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. I have a very large loving family that is located within 3 miles of me except for 1 sister who lives 30 mins from me. I have 7 wonderful nieces/nephews that I am very proud of. My nephew Christoper was deployed to Majan Afganstan before Christmas, we all miss him dearly and pray for his and all of our soliders to come home safely. At the moment I am going through breast reconstuction due to breast cancer, I consider myself VERY lucky that it was found early due to my yearly mamogram. Please urge your loved ones to never let a year go by without one. 90% of the women with breast cancer have no family history. I am on facebook if you need a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen.

Spiritually satifying
Hi Darlene,

My mouth fell open when I read your message, thank you for the kind words. I see that you are a new member... congratulaions. My sister got me started on doing this, and I'm thankful to her for that. It's been very satisfying for me. It's weird I know, but when you see a little one that didn't make it, or a youngster, I tend to imagine them, and their short life, even the still born have a soul, I believe. And they are as improtant as the ones who lived years. All my life I use to cry about death, you know, not neccessarily myself, but mainly my Mother, and she'd be in the next room. I just didn't want to loose her, but as the years have come on, ( i don't like that at all, but oh well, ha ) and my constant thought of it, and other things, it's just not too scary any more. Thank you again Darlene, holler at me anytime, and you too will enjoy Find A Grave. Sue
