Please I am saying this in the kindest way I can. After much research and calling the Cemeteries. History has proven its self again. People of all walks of life sometimes spell the same name differently. |
I have researched many names of my heritage. My experience says I just don't spell a name the way I want it. It is how I have researched the information. It could have been by records, cemetery headstones, family sources etc…
If you would like a name corrected please understand what sources I may have used to achieve the information. If you have a source please send it along. I will consider the source if it is an unverified source I cannot change it.
Please try these variations.
Trombly, Trembly, Tremblay, Trambley, Tremble
Campan, Campeau, Campea, Campau
Please understand. I am trying to stay as true to the name as possible. Thank you for understanding.
If you are looking for family members in the Mt Elliot Cemetery, Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan. You can contact Bruce Hall he is now the Director for both Mt Elliot and Mt Olivet he is fantastic in helping you out. Just go to Cemetery look up type in that cemetery and go to their listing and you can call or email him.

This is my great grandfather. Note all the genealogical information. I only record my family graves and connect my relatives.
I did check the Sacred Heart of Mary/Sweetest Heart of Mary Cemetery CD today and there are no other sobkowiak's buried there, except the 2 I already transferred to you. No Trembly's (tried the other variations of spelling too) either.

You're welcome - glad to help!
|David Vargo||Louise Trombley|
I see you have added an entry for Louise Trombley in Detroit Mich., with no known birthdate or date of death. I had a maternal great-aunt who lived and died in Detroit whose name was Louise Trombley. She lived with her son whose name was Frederick Trombley. I'm wondering what your connection is to her and how you managed to get her name as being buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Are you a relative? I look forward to hearding from you.
|Martin Brennan||Thank you|
Thank you so much for posting the grave of Rose Villeneuve Campeau; I've been searching for her death information for years. This lead me to the church record of her death. She must have been living with relatives in the area. Your efforts are much appreciated.
