I've been working on researching my paternal family line for several years. There are many family legends and stories I am trying to validate but have not had much luck doing so. It's been a fun process learning about my ancestry and meeting distant cousins online that I would have never known otherwise.
Edward Macnish at Holy Cross Hi Amy, I see your photo request for Edward Macnish at Holy Cross Cemetery. Here's some additional information for you that you may want to have added to the memorial. Myself or another volunteer can take the photo at some point.

Also note in the same plot: Edward V. Macnish Buried 04/13/2012 Plot: Blk-75 Sec-A Gr-628 1B Find-A-Grave Memorial # 98104961
RE: swan point cemetery Sorry Amy, I must have missed posting the photo -or didn't find it at the plot. With their no photography rule, I only had permission for a couple of days. (I got that by giving them the list of dozens of requests) I was told to have anyone else call them directly for photo requests with the name, section, and plot number - which I provided for you on an earlier post. Again, I'm sorry I missed posting your photo. Sue
Swan Point Cemetery photo requests Swan Point Cemetery has a no photography rule. However, I have been granted permission to fulfill the find-a-grave requests. I need a 'letter' stating that a family member wants the photo. Please message me that you would like a photo -list the names and dates, also a group number if you know it. And that the purpose is personal - geneaology. I will print out the message for them to file. Sue
Andrew Stranahan photo request I visited the McCafferty Cemetery today with hopes of seeing your Andrew, but after a walk- through -- I didn't. However, there is a Stranahan monument that includes John G (d. 1881 age 70), wife Harriet (d. 1861 age 49) and James M. (d. 1869 age 33). If this would help, I'll send the photo to you.
Frank Stranahan Headstone Hi, I took pictures at the Greenlawn cemetery today and on the back of the Stranahan headstone is the inscription for LaTheresa M Davis b.Oct 4 1872 d.Mar 15 1975 and Edwin N Davis b. Aug 16 1874 d.Mar 8 1960. I took a picture of this side also, but I have to go back tomorrow and retake it as my husbands tennis shoes are in the background. OOPS! Do you know who this family might be and do you want to make a memorial for them so I'll have a place to download the photo? Kathy
Anna Stranahan Caldwell There are a whole mess of Caldwells in this family plot. Let me know if you have an interest in any of them or if Anna Stranahan Caldwell's maiden name is the line you are interested in. I did put up the picture of her husband William Ernest Caldwell.
