I enjoy researching family history/genealogy. I find it extremely interesting, love a challenge and enjoy the thrill of finding out new information...coming from a very large family, it is also very rewarding and it is my way of paying respect to those who have paved a way for me. |
I grew up in and continue to live in the Southwestern corner of Ohio, near Kentucky and Indiana.

I have two sources for her name. 1st, the Greenwood Cemetery site:
You can search for Charles here and it will give you his parents.
2nd, familysearch.org has the Ohio Deaths, 1908-1953. Search for Charles, died in Ohio in 1953. Same parents. These are two different records, but they actually could have been made with the same surviving member of his family. Somebody has made a mistake, but I don't know who.

|nshaughnessy||Gustavus A. Kraus|
Hi, My Name is Nancy Cobourn Shaughnessy.
Nellie Kraus Cobourn was my aunt her Father was Gustavus Kraus,Sr. which makes her Gustavus
Kraus,Jr.(1871-1937) her brother. I have more
information on Sr.
|Li Ann Lee||Ida Moak Spinning|
I'm confused! The 1900 census says that Nellie Spinning was born Aug 1885. Kate was born Mar 1885. Kate's mother didn't die until 1886.
William married Ida in 1888. I have a feeling that Nellie was Ida's by another father. The census only says that Ida had 1 child and 1 child living. Is it possible that Nellie took the Spinning name? I haven't found any indication that Ida was married before she married William.
Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Her father Uziah Moak was my first cousin four times removed. I've been tracing this family.

I have already emailed Pami and have heard from her. I recognize Dominique's name. I think he has info on other soldiers involved in this story in addition to Mr. Oker. I think I've got some good leads. Thank you for your help!!

I am not related to Mr. Oker. He is one of several POWs I am researching. I am interested in his story. Could you email me the details at email@example.com? Thank you.

I saw your memorial for Robert Oker from Cincinnati. I was wondering if you knew him personally. I am researching the POW train he was on during WWII. Do you know anything about his time as a POW?

Hey Gail I transferred the Garrett Hall Memorial to you. Could you please email Faye Laubert about the HALL Family
if either of these do not work let me know and I will have to send it to you from my mail
I've posted some photos of markers for the Spinning plot in section 88 of Spring Grove. In particular, the marker for Adele Spinning (79046136) shows her maiden name as Tosso - your description on Frank Spinning's page (65777198) makes it seem as if you were unsure about that name.
