Bio and Links
Have been working on Family History research for about 8 years. Working on the Nottingham England Stapletons; Scots-Irish Gillies Lumber merchants and the Schmidt Mennonite farmers of New Hamburg. Now working on my wife's family - Smiths from Dornoch,Ont. and McCreadies from Sarnia - both emigrated from Scotland.
This site is a great way to finally find a "home" for the old black/white photos and the headstone pics stored in my computer.

RE: Shelby Holmes
Heard back from the other member who used the same site as you so I'll get things sorted out and submitted tonight. Nothing on your end needs to change as I'm just going to get the Admins to fix it. Much easier to let them do it.

RE: Donald Smith Black
Hi Doug,
Judy Teague took a photo of Donald Smith Black's gravestone when she went there with Frank Black. They said that Donald Smith Black memorial ##119737862 was buried in Oak River Cemetery, rather than Miller Cemetery. Apparently his death registration also states he was buried in Oak River Cemetery. I am in touch with Judy so I'll confirm the death registration information. Thanks.

Donald Smith Black 'Daniel'
Hello Doug,
Would you happen to have a photo for the gravestone of Donald Smith Black "Daniel"?
He is posted as being in Miller Cemetery, Oak River Manitoba. (I am not convinced that he is buried there). He is memorial #119737862.

Donald Smith Monument
Hello,
Just to clarify the Smith brothers in Latona Cemetery. You have posted a monument for Donald Smith memorial #11584915 which is probably a monument for the Smith family, (according to the bio on Donald Smith states that he is buried in the same plot as his twin brother William Smith memorial #11584894).Should this monument also be posted for William Smith? I take it Donald Smith's name was not inscribed on this monument or anywhere else as no one has posted a stone with this. Thank you for your time and any light you can shed on this is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Elaine :-)

George Lester Wildman
Thanks Doug. It turns out the other Wildman in that cemetery, Ellenor, was George's second wife. Bob was very nice and sent me the link to her death certificate. I'll put together a bio for George later today listing his 3 wives, parents and the children I have come across. I also found a brother. But no parents; so maybe someday someone will get them posted. Since I know Elizabeth died in Flint; she must be buried there. Not so sure about his father, Richard.
