I have been interested in genealogy since the early 1970s when my great uncle Samuel Orliff Allison sent us a book of our family history. Unfortunately some of the family connections were inaccurate or unprovable because of lost documentation overtime.|
Since I have discovered this website I have been able to make new connections and discoveries about my family so that the future generations may have access to it.
I live in New Hampshire and have limited funds to travel to the midwest myself, so I appreciate anyone who has information or is willing to assist me with my quest. If I am able to assist someone here in New Hampshire, I will gladly do so.

I think my message regarding John Marshall's burial at Mt. Elliott Cemetery in Detroit may have been confusing. The cemetery association's database does show he is buried at Mt. Elliott, but it doesn't list a plot location and that is why I suggested you contact Mt. Olivet to get a plot location. Mt. Elliott has between 75,000 and 100,000 burials and without the plot location, it is impossible to find the specific grave. Hope this clarifies my note.

Thanks for the information on Lawrence Allison.

My husband and I just moved to this area and I believe we are about 2 miles from Morgan cemetery. We will ask around and see if we can get permission to go on the property and search for the Graves
Your edits have been completed. I hope to get back to the cemetery to take more photos. Thanks for the updates!

I added your suggestion. Thanks

Thank you for the additional information. I have adjusted her entry. She did not marry Chris Schneider. She married Anthony Schneider. I have added her MI Death Certificate to her FindAGrave page and also call your attention to the grave monument's inscription in the photograph. Lastly, the Monroe County MI Marriage Register records their marriage taking place in Carleton MI on 5 July 1911 with Anthony's first wife Mary Trossell's brother, John and spouse, acting as witnesses.

I have no idea is Anthony is related or not. There cemetery list 5 persons with the name Esper buried there. Go to mcalvary.com and click on search and enter the last name. Some of the others buried there may be related to you.
The one that I mentioned to you has the same parents as Sister Colette listed and he is buried in Wayne County, Mich.
The place where the "sisters" are buried in facing the huge cross in the center of the cemetery. All of the ones buried next to her are "Sisters of the Poor". On Mt. Calvary website (mcalvary.com), it shows her being buried in the middle of the group, but the actual headstone is a the end of the row, but more empty spaces after her.
I'm glad I could help you out. If you need more pictures, please let me know.

Sister Colette had a brother, Edward Esper, Jr..
He was born in 1902 and died in 1906. His memorial # is 47354311.
It doesn't list where their parents are buried, though.
Hope this helps.

Thankyou very much...it is much appreciated.
The best 'un-bounceable email address for me...is my site address...
This will ensure proper delivery of any information you have.
Again, thankyou so much...I can't get there, to do all that, so it is very appreciated.
