Scott Wasson Cemetery
I referred to my resource from which I added the memorial in question, James Wasson.
I own many volumes of cemetery books, including Cemetery Records and Early Church Histories of Venango County, Pennsylvania. There are 9 volumes in this series. I own 3 of the 9 volumes.
The information for the Scott Wasson cemetery is in Volume 3, Page 28.
There is descriptive info that I will request Find a Grave add to the cemetery page.
And to answer your question, yes that is what it says.

RE: Samuel Washington Wasson
I didn't get the information about Mary Wasson's son John Boyd from; I actually proved my line back to William Boyd [Mary Wasson's husband] with a DAR supplemental application [DAR doesn't accept memorials as proofs]. There is a memorial on John Boyd, it is Memorial# 25568295

RE: Samuel Washington Wasson
It doesn't seem that anyone knows for sure what Mary Wasson Boyd's dates of birth and death are. I'm currently using "abt 1763" for her date of birth, which seems about as late as it could reasonably be, since her son John Boyd was born in 1777 [according to his headstone]. Her husband was living alone in the 1830 US census, and remarried in 1833, so it's pretty certain she died before 1830.

The memorial information for Samuel Wasson on indicates that he was married three times, and had a daughter Mary Wasson by his first wife. I'd like to find the source of that information!

I've documented my line back to William Boyd and Mary Wasson; it would be great to either prove or eliminate Samuel Wasson [Will probated in 1826] as her father.

Samuel Washington Wasson
Do you have a source for Samuel Wasson's children by his first wife? I descend from Mary Wasson [married William Boyd] and believe that Samuel was her father. Any help you are able and willing to provide is VERY much appreciated!

RE: Alexander Wasson 1772
He is my 5th great grandfather. His daughter Catharine Wasson Hall is my 4th great grandmother. From there, it is Robert Samuel Hall, then Myrtle Hall Ellis, Georgia Ellis Ford. Georgia's daughter Marjorie Ford Love was my grandmother.

What is your connection?
