Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've started the genealogy quest because, well, the bug bit me, so to speak. I'm not doing it so much for me as I am for my two sons. They deserve to know where they came from.

I'm interested in the following surnames (from my family): Zerbel, Wideen (Widen), Holzwarth, Beckner (Bechner?), Schulz (perhaps Schultz), Plath, Green, Lorge, Michelbook, Mousel, Schrantz, Johnston, Smith, White, Fagerlind, Brostrom, Dalberg (Dahlberg), Kiesa, Overturf, Molitor, Kerps, Uhlhass, Wagner, Birchen, Urbany, Schneider, Thirion, Gilles, Foquet, Bourton, Zastrow, Eikstadt....I could go on and on. The important ones are more toward the beginning.

Also, I'm working on my family tree and am looking for photographs of people, headstones, gravestones, and obituaries (or related articles) so if you have any of those just laying around...

Muriel Tylee
Sorry, I'm not related.
I have photographed many of the cemeteries in the Eau Claire / Osseo area and many were back when pre-needs were allowed. So I follow the obits in the Leader-Telegram and update and post those.
Sorry, it would be nice to meet a new relative, but I'm not related to Muriel.

RE: Muriel Irene (Hawkinson) (Green) Tylee

Muriel was the sister of Bruce Hawkinson, my step-father. I do not know about her marriage prior to that of Robert Tylee. She had 3 children. Mike Tylee, the oldest died about 10 years ago and was in his 40's.

RE: Lorge Family in Lake Church, Wis.
Just to let you know, it was you who put in a photo request for Johann Lorge, so you must have thought that Johann was related, in some way.

Also, on my more recent email, of Victor A. Lorge, who died young & is buried at St. Anne's Church/Cemetery in St. Anna, Calumet County, Wis.

A distant cousin???

Johann Lorge
Did you receive the photos that we sent you of Johann Lorge and family members?

Johann Lorge
I found Johann Lorge & took a photo of the stone, along with two other stones by Johann's. One was John & the other was Willie.
Also found some other Lorge gravestones but did take a photo of another Lorge family.

Sincerely,

William S.

Lorge Family in Lake Church, Wis.
We found a LORGE family of 5, in St. Mary's church cemetery. Two adults--John (1866-196?) and Anna (1870-1949); and three children: John (1909-1909); Nicholas (1897-1897); and Maria (1894-1894).

I (Linda) took photos of the grave, and each individual name; all names turned out well except for the adult John. I will fix them up to be Find A Grave-ready, and send them to you in an email when I am finished. I will also put the individual people's names into their respective, Find A Grave memorials.

When we create the memorials, would you like us to transfer management to you?

Sincerely,
Linda & William S.
