RE: The Bentons
Yes, the gentleman who won it was kind enough to send me a copy. I am close to having my restored colorized version done, and will send you copies of my work if you send me an email (address in a previous message). Tom
P.S. Some of the other Benton relatives at Mt. Albion have no markers (Graves and Hubbard)

So glad you like it! (before I forget, go to ebay and search in sold items for albion ny artillery and see a photo of Charlie from 1864 I didn't know existed - my $200 bid fell short!) Do you know about my book the Orleans Battery? It has highlights from Charlie's letters to Cora, plus about a dozen other soldiers of the 17th. tomtaber_14411@yahoo.com

Oh my gosh!
I'm so excited! You're a relative of Cyrus Beall?? I know I sound silly, but I've only been doing this a few months, and actually finding a living relative of someone in my tree is rarer than hens' teeth, and amazingly gratifying.

I'm happy to leave his memorial in your hands, and yes, I'd love to swap information. I have a few pictures of Cyrus, and a few letters from him, and in a day or two I'll be receiving a mail from Oakwood Cemetery which includes another letter from him, sent upon the death of Frances.

Since Cyrus is your relative, and Frances is mine (she's my great-grand-aunt), would it make sense for me to manage her memorial?

I look forward to comparing notes. In the meantime, here's a link to the search page on my blog, showing all posts with the word "Cyrus". I need to get better at tagging my posts, but this serves the purpose for now.

RE: Henry and Nancy Klock
Ok, just let me know if you change your mind. I am hoping to go to the cemetery in about an hour and I will see if I can find the graves. If not I will go to the library tomorrow night and look for their plot number and then go on Friday. I emailed the Klock/House info. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

RE: Henry and Nancy Klock
Hi. There is quite and extensive file on the House family. I have taken pictures of the pedigree and family group sheets but there are too many articles to take pictures of. I did photo copy the Klock family file and will email you that with the House charts. If you would like copies of the news clippings I can have them photo copied. If you want to pay for copies (they are 10 cents each) she could probably fit a few clippings on a sheet. I know this doesnt sound like a lot of money but it adds up when I help many people, I hope you understand. Just let me know. If I dont get what I have emailed to you tonight I will send it tomorrow.

There are quite a few knocks. I can go to the library and get the info there about them and if you want pics of all I can take them. They have files on families too with obits and news clippings. I can see if they have a file for klocks and let you know, I didn't have enough time Saturday and they are only opened a few hours a few days a week.
