RE: Stanley Hatfield died 1847
Cheryl;
Thank you for your opinion on when Stanley may have died. I did have the 1847 DOD on my Family Tree Maker, but it has been on there so long, I have never questioned it until now. So what I did was include in his Bio that Stanley may have died between 1821-1829 or as late as 1847 and that his exact DOD has not been established. I also question his DOB but estimate it to be about 1782 in current Russell County, Virginia as well as his parents. It is also just my opinion Stanley is likely buried in this Hart Cemetery but without a marker or any record saying where he is, we may never know for sure.
If you have any more on this family, even good guesses I would love to exchange information with you.
Thanks again
Wes Hart

RE: Martha Elizabeth Chandler Matthis
I work on thousands of memorials so not sure. I know that on familysearch.org it says her parents are who I linked her to. Next time I go to the local library I could see if I could find an obituary for her if you would like; just let me know :)

RE: Richard Chandler and Martha Lindsey Line
Hi Cheryl, yes, I am sorry as well. People will be people. Ones that spend their hard earned money and precious time researching for facts and proof don`t reserve this.
To cut to the chase if you have 11 pages you have most of it. It is out there as I released the info. in 2006.
My only real addition besides proving others guesses or uncovering mistakes is the Richard Chandler, Sr. born 1751 and his wife and you have this. It is still not proven I must say but looks good to many and the only thing we have. Plenty of people are coping it and several organizations are now using it. I am afraid it is all we have right now until someone or something else is discovered.
I will continue to work on this until the day I die. All will be revealed one day. Sincerely, Eli 850-341-3764

RE: Richard Chandler and Martha Lindsey Line
Hi Cheryl Kempt, yes, much misinformation and worse I have been told over this line. I have seen some of this myself. It is good I did not let all I know out. I am glad I missed most of the battles. I had no idea how back stabby people where over this stuff. Never surfed on all the sites so my mind is mostly clear of this. Very unfortunate. Are you related? My bible should have straightened this out but many don`t want to recognize it and have tried to sweep the information under the rug so to speak. It does not match their information which cannot be proven with what they do not have. This is why I am not sharing all with people I do not know and even with people that I do. The copiers and hater`s and people who want to use good information for their own use have kept me more private. It is a shame but it is what it is.
Richard Chandler, Jr. and Charity Park`s are very much proven by many and still people won`t use this good information.
Several web sites are not using it and the only reasons why are not good.
Many do think that these Richard`s came from Wilke`s County, N. C. as do I but much work still needs to be done to prove it. Daniel could also be related. Some think back to Virginia as well but no proof yet. Richard Chandler, Sr. could have been a disserting British soldier for all we really know. Maybe one day somebody like me will surface with more. I will be looking. I prefer to work on my own proof and hopefully share it one day after it is protected. Good luck to you. Sincerely, Eli

Hi Cheryl, yes, I have the bible and all its original information. I am a direct ancestor and this bible was handed down to me. I have not generally released its pages for many reasons. I am working on my own publication to let all my information out in due time and to protect it. Long stories and I would be glad to tell you about it sometime.
If you would send me a phone number to reach you I will try soon. Sincerely, Eli

RE: John Todd Comstock, 1873-1958
Hi, sorry I'm slow to respond but the kids are coming down and things have been hectic here. :)
As I remarked on his page, Lyndon is tentative. I found only him and William Comstock in the KY 1810 Census listed with a male under 10 in the household. The boy listed in William's household is surely his son Elijah, so that just leaves Lyndon. I did not notice Isaac and Anna, what are your sources on them please? It does occur to me that if Nehemiah was born as late as 1810, he might have shown up after the census taker did. I admit that I got sidetracked when I started doing my husband's genealogy and did not get back to the Comstocks, so any input is most appreciated. - Dee
