I have been fortunate to find my paternal side of my family after being taken from them many years ago. Spending time with each of them, hearing their stories, collecting photos and sharing new life stories has been very rewarding. Now I'm involved in following up with the family history in every aspect and look forward to being able to help others in their quest also.|
I am currently adding memorial pages for the family members that have passed on and that I haven't found listed yet here on Find A Grave. If there is any information that needs to be corrected, please let me know!
In general I only have memorials that I am related to, however, should I be in a cemetery where there were headstones of those that I thought may be related or had surnames of people I know I may also post their memorials. If I am not related to the individual, I would be more than happy to transfer maintenance.
I'd like to thank all the volunteer photographers for their time and energy in getting the photos posted on Find A Grave. That is a fantastic service.
Thank you to all the creators of memorials that I have had the pleasure to visit. Those of you who have transferred memorials to me - a special Thank You! To those who wish to retain the memorial, I do thank you for creating it. I do hope that the suggestions that we all submit do get posted. If you find that I have surnames on my list and you'd like to transfer memorials to me I will accept them with open arms!
Also, all of the photos that I have posted may be used by anyone that wishes to utilize them. If I have any duplicate memorials or information, please let me know!
Sincerely and Happy Hunting!

All I have on him is the inscription of the headstone,
"ae 8 y 2 m 13 d
Son of H & E"
You can request photo on his memorial if you wish.
Thank you for asking.

You are most welcome. I enjoy adding the memorials and I always try to transfer to the more direct descendant. As for adding them I think everyone deserves to be remembered in some way.

Thank you so much for fulfilling my photo request! I truly appreciate your work. It is wonderful to be able to ask volunteers to photograph locations that we cannot get to!
Thanks again - and Great Photos!

Who is your Burkholder ancestor? I have researched the Burkholders quite a bit, especially my personal line. My ancestor was Christian Burkholder (1746-1809), immigrated 1754, buried Groffdale (Brick) Mennonite, Lancaster County, PA.
I also have info on some other lines. If you can tell me a bit more who you are looking for I might be able to point you in the right direction.
I don't know of any large Burkholder reunion taking place. Sorry.

You're quite welcome!!

Thanks for the links to the parents. I have added them to her memorial. Are you a relative of Rose? Would like to see Rose's memorial maintained by a relative, which I am not.

You asked me to make links on Joseph's memorial page to his children, I'd love to do that but I'm unable to. The only links you can make are to the parents or spouse. So unfortunately, you'll have to click on the edit tab for each child and ask that contributor to make the links.
I'm not related to the family. Have a great day,
