Bio and Links
Bio Photo My family line surnames include the following, going backward on my father's side through his mother: Galloway, Evans, Templeton, Holder, Hopkins, Jennings, Anderson, Walker and Shockley.
From my father's father, names go from Leonard (Ireland ca 1850), to Widener, Hall, Singleton, Burtz, Orisby.
On my mother's side, through her father was Austin, Welch, Hoge (to Scotland, at least 1660), Hume (to Scotland), Nichols, Hughes or Hughs, Click (or Gluck, Germanic in origin), Skiles. On my mother's side, through her mother, was King, Cunningham (to Scotland), Elliott (to Ireland), Widner, Lewis, and Hughes/Hughs (to Wales in 1665).

There are at least three relatives in my tree who fought in the American Revolution and several who were in the American Civil War.

I have sought not to add FAG individuals to whom I am not related, although there are a couple of exceptions. Requests for transfers will be granted according to FAG guidelines or at my personal discretion. FAG guidelines are not my first rule of thumb. :)

Thank you for this info. It will be a few days before I can get back up that way. 20yrs. ago I drove up hwy.127 to get to Crossville Tn. 6-8 times a year. Go fishing at our cabin.

I will hang a right just passed Dunlap and then turn north. Should not be very for on the right.

Thanks Again
Ron Bradley

Need to get back up there and catch

RE: Hoge and Tate
I actually have 2 distinct and separate Tate lines. One from my paternal line out of Warren, Sequatchie, Bledsoe and many other counties in TN. The other from my marriage out of Rockingham County, NC.

Hoge
Hey, Roger :)

I'm showing that James Lafayette "Fate" Hoge was brother to I. Lemuel Hoge. Lemuel had a daughter named Sarah Carolyn (my ggmother - also known as Lucy Caroline Hoge/Hogue).
