Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and have lived my entire life in Northern California, but my immediate family comes from Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Missouri, but our roots reach out to Ireland and Scotland and all over the eastern United States as well.

I am very interested in genealogy and am getting very interested in history after researching a relative's service and demise in the civil war, I was lucky enough to be able to visit the actual spot the battle was fought.

Before my immergance into genealogy, geography was never very important to me, however, now I am discovering and learning so much and can't wait to visit places where my ancestors lived, worked and played.

I have so many people to thank for helping with my genealogical search here at Find-a-grave and I hope I can help others with their search.

Hi Terri,

I'm so sorry it took 2 months to write back! I do not live near the cemetery anymore. I'm sorry that I cannot help you.

Violet Billie Rose
This has been a puzzle. Finally found a Goldie Violet Rose but the dates do not match. The lady is much older. Could it be a relative?

Grave of Zenoveda Escamillo
Greetings Terri,

I am the volunteer grave researcher for Concordia Heritage Association in El Paso. The Association helps people find graves in Concordia Cemetery. I noticed your Find A Grave request for Zenoveda Escamillo. We can possibly find the gravesite, but there is a procedure to follow. If you go to the Concordia Cemetery website, fill out the grave request form, submit the form either online or by mail, and include a ten dollar tax deductible donation (which can be done by Pay Pal if you submit the request online, or by check if by mail), we can proceed. The money collected from donations is used for cemetery expenses such as upkeep and security. Just a note of warning, the Association does not guarantee that a gravesite will be found. Many graves in Concordia do not have headstones, and other headstones are not readable due to weathering. Let us know if you choose to use our services. Thank you very much.

The information you received from Semper Dad, I believe that is his Find A Grave name, is incomplete and incorrect. Quite frankly, you will never find the grave from the incomplete and incorrect info he gave you.

RE: Gideon Gifford
Hi Terri, I discovered a duplicate memorial for Gideon while I was looking at this. I'm going to see if I can delete my memorial #117541732 and let Catherine link to #123655261. Thanks!

RE: Gideon Gifford
Hi Terri, According to the notes I have, it's 9610 Parker Branch Road. I believe it's in Macon County. The Veterans Gravesites doc I found in Ancestry, says it's in Lafayette, TN 37083. Google maps is not very helpful. There is a picture of the sign in the cemetery page for Gann-Gifford Cemetery in Macon, TX in Find-A-Grave. I hope that helps.
