You are welcome.
Sorry that the Stone is so poor.
I took three photos and choose the
one that gave the best results.

Harriet Beecher Stowe
Greetings, Marita!

I'm just the author of Harriet's bio, which CORRECTLY gives the year of her husband's death as 1886. I've no control over the Rev. Calvin Stowe's page (Findagrave Memorial #60282369), nor did I add it to the Family Links section on Harriet's. You would need to contact the Graver who created the Rev. Stowe's page to resolve the discrepancy.

Best regards'

RE: Furman family
If you don't have time to delete, then don't worry about it. I would need original copies from cemetery records, death records, etc. Unless the duplicates can be deleted, it's a waste of time.

Thanks anyway.

They are VERY distant relatives.

Furman family
Are you able to sort out the differences? I live in NC so am not near to any data that would clear up the dates.

Go into FIND A GRAVE, then go to ALBANY RURAL CEMTETERY, and ask for the FURMAN family. You will easily see the conflicts.

Hi, If you look up the FURMAN family who are buried in the Albany Rural Cemetery, you will find several duplicate names with almost identical information. Sometimes the birth year is different by a year but the rest of the date is the same and both have the same death dates. It's really a mess and needs to be sorted out and corrected.

I have no idea how you do this, but it would be lovely to have correct information for those whose names are listed.

Thank you for all that you do.

RE: Ellizabeth Tilden
OK...forget the previous TWO responses I sent. I confused Elizabeth's story with that of her daughter, also named Elizabeth. Sorry.

Still trying to find the sources for the links.

RE: Ellizabeth Tilden
Please ignore the earlier message.

I've unfortunately forgotten which source(s) cited Elizabeth as being a daughter of Nathaniel and Lydia. I'll try to reconnect the dots.

I'm not opposed to severing her parental links, but do can you provided the correct information of her parentage?

It's not unfathomable that Elizabeth was omitted from her father's will due to him possibly desiring to distance himself from his daughter who had a troubled marriage (convicted children) and was married to a convicted philanderer until a divorce that may have been the first at Plymouth.
