RE: Jacob Dick
I don't remember now where I got that info. It was from another Find A Grave member, I'm sure. I've transferred both of them to you so you can edit them as you wish. They are no relation to me.

RE: Your Anderson line
My name is Lynn Jones

Here's the link To Robert Anderson & Mary Overston
http://twee.se/Pre-Histroy/Family-Tree/family.php?famid=F16628&show_full=1

And major Robert Anderson is on this same website. Click the button above that say lists. then families. Look for Anderson. and then list them alphabetically.

All the Anderson's here lead to Sir Richard Anderson & Mary Spencer. The line thru Mary Spencer goes back to William the Conquer, I believe.

I don't remember seeing a Morrison is this tree, but it could be on another tree. And the same fro Key. I remember I've seen this name & I'm still looking for it.

And I didn't see Norman Anderson in this line. But, it doesn't mean it's not on another list somewhere.

RE: Maj. R. Anderson
My line is Robert Anderson & Mary Overton. Distantly related to Major Robert Anderson. This is on my mom's side of the family.
I've seen a Key surname before in my research. And I'm trying to locate where exactly where I've seen Major Robert Anderson and the Key surname.
I'm just thrilled The Anderson line goes back to Richard Anderson & Mary Spencer. Mary is from the wealthy Spencer family of Althorp. Princess Diana's childhood home.

Re: Bachus Crampton Flower Message
Hi

You can send me the info that you would like to add to Bachus's Memorial and I can add it in your behalf to the bio section of his memorial; which is the proper place for it... to remove what you have on the flower: you can click on the flower and it should go to a new screen where you can DELETE that yellow flower and info and then you can add a new flower..

RE: Robt. Anderson FG 40540599
Hi! I believe my stepfather's family is related to Major Robert Anderson, who was a cousin of some degree - believe me, I am no good at figuring out first and second cousins, etc.

I'll give you the lineage back to Major Anderson's father:

My stepfather was James Moody Hite, Jr. (1920-1997), whose father was James Moody Hite, Sr. (1895-1968), whose mother was Lelia DeFreise Harvill (1874-1953), whose mother was Margaret Jane Gill Anderson (1834-1904), whose father was
John H. Anderson (1805-1893), whose father was
Richard "Kettle Dick" Anderson (1777-1858), whose father was David Anderson (1740-1833), whose father was Robert Anderson (1712-1792). This Robert Anderson was married to Elizabeth Clough (1722-1779). They had David Anderson listed above and Robert Clough Anderson.

I hope this information helps. It sure is interesting to research families. I'm having fun on Ancestry.com through a gift subscription. Let me know how it works out.

Best regards,
Jeanie Adams (in very cold Anchorage, Alaska)
