Margaret Vandemark Ronk.
Hello Dorothy,

We have transferred Margaret to you, as we feel you are better able to up date information for her being that she is in your direct lineage. We are slowly catching up, our brother Richard died less than 3 months of your inquiry to up date stats. He and Mom were doing very little during those months, as Richard was in the hospital more than he was out. We stepped in after Richard died to help Mom, she is slowly getting back to things. Mom lost 5 very special people in her life, all in less than a year. Dad, son Richard and the very best of wonderfully special friends, Stephen, David & Kathy. It was a time when it left many of our family and their friends speechless, including our Pastor.

In Moms words "The Best to You and Yours",

Gloaner Ronk
I recently took a trip to the New Hurley Reformed Cemetery, and I took two other people with me, and we went through the whole cemetery. There is no Gloaner Ronk born and died with the dates you gave me. Sorry. I do suppose that they were buried around the same area. But I can say that there is NO stone there for this person. I was hoping that I could find the stone for you. Sorry Sharon

RE: William Harrison Auten
Dear Dorothy, I would love to learn more about William, George and their children. Do you know if any of their children have Find A Grave sites? I would also love to see copies of any other pictures of George and William added to their sites. Do you know of any? Looking forward to hearing from you. You can email me at Thanks, Baxter

re: Platt Weeks Finch
Platt Finch's grandfather is my 4th great grandfather along that line of the family. According to my software, that makes him a first cousin 4 times removed. Anyhow, he isn't directly related to my line. Thank you for adding the relationship links and offering him to me. I would be fine with you keeping him in your care.

David Welsh, Glencoe, Oh, Cemetery
Hi, I just post a memorial for David. # 77264091. You were king enough to give me info on his parents Crawford and Mary, so I would appreciate any info you might have on him. Many thanks.

Aten - Glenwood Cem Groveland NY
Hello Dorthy,
I have access to all of my mothers 50+ years of family research and her local history collection, many of our family lines have been here since 1788. I am helping to keep her memorials updated as much as possible, since Dad died in April this year. She has photos for all 5 of the Aten family members, in Glenwood Cemetery, Groveland, New York. Wm Sr., wife Elizabeth, son Wm Jr., his wife Elizabeth and their daughter Sarah. I will fill the request for William 1808 - 1842. Please request the other 4 members and I will fill them also. I rechecked moms notes and the photo for William Aten Sr. and corrected the typo for year of death from 1820 to 1829. 1829 is on his headstone. Mom says "Old fingers tend to do their own dance on occasion." If you have other information, I will gladly add it to the Bio. section of the memorial as secondary information and give you credit for your submission. If you would like, I'll add your email address & F.A.G.#, so others can correspond with you directly.
Thank you, Richard - son of Rootboggin.
