Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas I've been retired about 4 years. Not long ago I became interested in my ancestors...and you might say the rest is history. Having worked in nonprofits for more than 30 years I have an intense respect for volunteering. Those both fit this need perfectly!
I was delighted to find photos of my maternal grandparents on Find A Grave. Grateful, I offered to take photos so others could see relatives and friends. I find it fun and fascinating. As long as they are in the general Wichita area or nearby towns, I'll do my best to accomodate requests.
If someone wants more than just one shot of a marker, please let me know. While I'm there I might as well get what you want. I can, then, send the "extras" to you via email.

Donna,Thank you for your efforts. Unfortunately I have no further info. I am going to try and trace the couple buried next to her. I think you & the sextant have the right spot. Robin

Thank you for the photo
Thank you for the photo of Marcia Thudium headstone.

This clarifies things as the original contributor had name spelled Thurium and obit read Thudium.
I was debating with him on this point, so thanks for helping clear things up.

I guess you didn't read the problem with the stone. I set the photo request and explained that the daughter of these folk says the 'This Is Not Her Parents Stone" I wanted someone to go to the cemetery and see if there was another stone. The daughter is first cousin to my husband and some of the family is saying that the stone on her memorial is not the correct stone. Did you go to the cemetery and check that and what did you find? The daughter says the info is correct but that that is not the stone she saw . Any help with verification would be welcome. Thanks
