RE: Elizabeth Miller
Thanks for the info for daughter Mary. I had not been able to find who she married. Thanks.

RE: Elizabeth Miller
More to think about. Adam's daughter Elizabeth was ten years older than Medley's daughter Elizabeth. Adam's dau in 1850 was 19, while in 1860 Medley's was 20. 1870 census shows Jacob's wife Elizabeth as being age 40, older than Jacob and again in 1880 she is older than Jacob. Where Adam's daughter Elizabeth was in 1860, I do not know, but her age fits that of Jacob's wife. Jacob and Elizabeth either married before 1860 or they were expecting their first child to arrive early. Records indicate Robert was born Oct 1859. He was age 10 on the 1870 census. It is questionable that Jacob was actually with father for 1860 census.

In addition to above, there was a bio for Garland Miller in the 1921 History of Harrison County. It stated: "...was born in Daviess County, Missouri, June 13, 1863, the son of Jacob E. and Elizabeth (Miller) Miller..." Forgot I had this.

Simon Miller actually lived in Daviess Co. for the 1860 census. After this census Simon moved his wife and most children to Iowa where his wife died. By 1870 he had moved to Mercer Co. with his children still in the home. This was his last move.

Jacob Miller's wife
Phyllis, do you have anything concerning Elizabeth's maiden name being Ballard that I might wish to reconsider. Thanks, Louise

RE: Jacob Miller
Phyllis, what gave you the impression Jacob's wife Elizabeth was a Ballard? Thanks, Louise

RE: Jacob Miller
Phyllis, as far as I know the marriage date has not been found yet for Jacob and Elizabeth. I did not find it in the Harrison County, MO records.
