i think of you lying there
as i stand still above your grave
i see you laughing in the sun
and dripping in the rain
hoeing fields - kneading bread
birthing children - burying dead
sweeping floors - cutting hay
rising in morning, ending the day
eating, sleeping, rushing round,
feeling joy, bearing pain
still now i stand
above your grave
until the world
turns round again
i have gone away
Thank you very much for the photo of my ancient relative's memorial. I wrote the above poem to describe what it means to stand above a grave, or even see a photo of it. I hope next summer to be able to visit this grave and I hope the above poem conveys to you that you are doing a meaningful service.
Sincerely, Candy Kallio

In response to the email you sent me? I have another woman asking for the same person. I have asked Find A Grave for assistance as to who to transfer the memorial to. Can you send your lineage please. I have asked her to do the same.

I am not related. I am willing to transfer his memorial if you would be interested in managing it.
