your antecedents.
This was from Rootsweb and I put it on the FaceBook
site, American Indian History-Wyandotte County, KS

"The Kansas City Star" (Missouri) Tuesday, March 29, 1904

Mrs. Anna GRINTER, 90 years old, who lives near Stony Point,
Kas., in Wyandotte county, Kansas, attended yesterday the
fifteenth wedding anniversary of her great granddaughter,
Mrs. Benjamin S. SMITH, who lives in the same neighborhood.

Five generations of the GRINTER family attended the celebration.
Moses GRINTER and his wife, Anna GRINTER, a Delaware Indian,
went to Wyandotte county, Kansas, in 1833 and settled on the
piece of land now owned by the aged widow. GRINTER was
the first white man to settle among the Delaware in that county.

Those present at the celebration yesterday were: Mrs. Kate GRINTER, 67 years old, daughter of Mrs. Anna GRINTER;
Mrs. Elizabeth MOONEY, daughter of Mrs. Kate GRINTER;
Mrs. E. RAY, daughter of Mrs. MOONEY, and
Crystal RAY, daughter of Mrs. E. RAY.

Steele Family
Hi Rhonda, I am Sue Steele and your husbands cousin(we have never met) but I did meet Mildred & Vic Pratt. I would like to share information with you. Please email me and put Steele Family as the subject. Ola Steele was my great Uncle and the brother of my Grandpa Steele (Morris Hiram Steele) who did not like his name and went by Jack most of the time. Looking forward to hearing from you.
