Gone But Not Forgotten
Harry Edward Overland, Sr 83003200
Hello again Diana, I called the cemetery and found out the confusion for Harry Edward Overland, Sr 83003200

I also added the following note to his memorial.
"There apparently has been confusion as to the correct cemetery to list the memorials in. The burial cards have the address 2890 South Higuera St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 which is the mortuary. The cemetery is next door at 2 Higuera St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. According to the personnel at the Mortuary it also has many names."

I was hoping you would add the same picture to this memorial as you did the other one. I do not know which memorial will remain and which Find A Grave will delete. At least that way his picture will remain for the rest of the family to see.

Thank you for your understanding. I wish the person who messaged me would have been more informative. There are others also wondering what happened.

Thanks again,
Richard Overland

Hi, I am hoping you can help me out. On the memorial mentioned above, you posted a picture of the marker. Thank you, Harry was my relative.
I have heard there are two different memorials set up for him. One at this cemetery the San Luis Cemetery , and the other at the San Luis / Lady Family Cemetery. Apparently the other member says that the other cemetery is a mistake and will be deleted from Find A Grave after all memorials moved to this cemetery. It is very confusing and I was wondering if you know for sure which cemetery the picture is for. The San Luis / Lady Family Cemetery of the San Luis Cemetery. There are two different addresses for the cemeteries.
Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.

Diana -

I can try to find the grave of Donald Colt when I am at the cemetery. I was just there this past week, and don't go too often. Unlike the other requests, however, you have very specific information. The markers are sometimes hard to find
(grass often grown over them and for the life of me I cannot figure out the system), but I will try.

*I* don't mind, but many will have a problem with you reposting their images. It's ok from my standpoint, but you may want to ask the next person.

Hi again Diana
Yes, I am interested in the Black and the Old Burying Ground in Greenfield. When were you last there? They have done some restoration work with putting some stones in that wall that goes around the cemetery; the stone wall. I'll send you an email tomorrow and we can share that way as well. Thank you!

Hi Diana
Thank you for telling me about the Glendening stone. I would like permission to feature it in a post on my Ohio cemetery preservation blog, limesstones.blogspot.com, with the wonderful photograph you took of it. Great job!!!!

The Mary Glendening stone at the Black Cemetery in Champaign County, Ohio looks like it had to be unearthed in order to be fully seen. Was that the case? Do you live in Champaign County, Ohio? Thank you for posting your gravestone photographs.
