Very interesting. It just so happens that my wife and I were in Poland last weekend visiting a daughter of the Vytautas Orentas (1894-1984) whose grave you photographed in Gelgaudiskis. I just sent the daughter's daughter an E-mail festooned with all sorts of attachments that would be of interest to researchers of this Orentas line. They were deported to Siberia and got scattered. Some are still in Krasnoyarsk (whom we visited 3 years ago) and some even wound up in my native Detroit. I will forward this to your E-mail address. And of course my "Sevelis-Matulis-Pielikis-Alminauskas" tree on Ancestry.com is available for all to see. One caution. Gelgaudiskis has both Orentai and Orintai. The Orentai migrated from near Kudirkos Naumiestas, the Orintai seem to have been around Gelgaudiskis for more generations. My granduncle married an Orintas woman. Stay tuned, and now to get back to posting more Gelgaudiskis photos.
Hello. I see that you have added photos to about 20 of the 3000 records for Gelgaudiskis cemetery records that I put on Find-A-Grave last year. Just curious, do you have relatives there (as I do), or are you a graver or professional researcher? Do you have more photos that haven't been uploaded yet? I have perhaps a few hundred more that I plan to upload sometime this year. If you see any advantages to coordinate, let me know.
Thank you for taking the time to photograph my Great Aunt and Uncles grave. I live in Australia so it would have been impossible to visit the site myself.

I've changed the date to reflect what is given on the headstone. I'm not sure if it was my typo or a mistake in the listing I copied from. Thanks for alerting me.

If you look on the Milan Cemetery website (http://milancemetery.org/) under Burial Report it lists a Mildred Ohlemacher/Sipp with some family members and relevant dates. Hope this helps.
Ive sent a few bits of information on the Dillion family they may of used the surname of Dillon-Lee but like most families with titles they tent to drop or add the last part of the name.
