|I have been an avid CWAR historian for 40 years. Both my Mother's maternal and paternal Great Grandfather died in Civil War- in Tennessee and in Andersonville. I have been a member of several CW Roundtables and a frequent lecturer. I focus on MN regiments and also on the XVI Corps and Battle of Nashville.|

|conroy1515||Civil war vets in St. Cloud|
HI, Mr. Flies. I spoke to you in the spring about trying to track a CW vet in St. Cloud, and I found his marker in Calvary Cem (Catholic) last week. However, his Federal stone is missing, probably lost or broken when graves were moved to the 'new' cem. in 1890. While I was there, photographed a few more Civil War graves, but only in the area of the cem. I was in. I've posted these on FindaGrave after looking them up on the Minn. Adjutant General's report to verify spellings (some stones are eroded and hard to read). They are:
Louis Dezeler (my husband's ancestor), Co. K, 2nd Minn. Cav
Christian Bebensee, Co. G, 11th Minn. Inf
Theodore Bouler, Co. B, 1st Battn. Minn. Vols.
Ferdinand Hartz, Co. G, 2nd Minn Cav.
J. B. Sherer, Co. G. 2nd Minn Inf.
Sgt. Michael Lauerman, Co. D, 1st Minn. Cav.
