I have been doing Genealogy off and on for many years. I have just begun to really delve into Find A Grave and have found so much information and many wonderful pictures. I really appreciate all the kind volunteers who have put so much time and care into the listings. I have been impressed with the response from photo volunteers! Thank you, one and all for making Find A Grave possible.
As far as my family lines, some surnames are; Crawford, Pless, Stewart, Stevenson,Davis, Reece, Hayes, Osterman, Stegman, Quasebarth, Gelhaus, Bushman. On my husband's side; Simpson, Neilson, Abbot, Mabee, Murdock, Fox, Deming, Burdick, Wright.
God bless! | |

 | James David Crawford Hey there, I posted a photo of your Great Grandfathers Headstone which raises a question. The person buried with him is a Mary J. Crawford with very differnt birth and death years than Mary Etta Pless Crawford so was he remarried, as the marriage date on the headstone indicates 9/6/1914, but I have children with a birth date as early as 1893 I'm so confused! Hope you can straigthen me out.
Take Care Eula | | | Steve McBride

 | Helen Crawford Hi Rose. There is finally a picture of Helen's headstone that someone else was kind enough to find. Please let me know if you want to link her memorial to your dad's. I also have her obit to add. | | | Anne Cady
 | RE: Arthur Harold Osterman, Arlington Cem. His wife is listed on the back of his stone. At Arlington couples are generally buried in the same plot with the first at double death. The military person is then listed on the front of the stone, and the spouse on the back. The memorials show the same stone, just from the front and back. Another way to tell is the back of the stone lists the section number and site, and you will see that above Lydia's name.
I do have a wider shot, but it shows an unrelated person in the grave to the right (Jack Davis). I cropped it out. | | | Flatfoot Billy
 | Abby Potter Rose...if you check the memorial for her husband Nathan I took a photo showing both stones. Let me know if you would like the others. | | | Flatfoot Billy
 | abby Potter Please disregard my last. Photo added. Please advise if you desire the rest of the Potter plot sent. | | | Flatfoot Billy
 | Abby Potter in Robbins Cemetery in Voluntown, CT.
No luck in finding her grave. There is a Potter memorial. If you look on the face page for the cemetery and enlarge the photo with the sign the brown memorial with the urn on top to the right is the Potter family plot.
If you'd like pictures of that let me know please. | | | lmjc
 | RE: Alexander Simpson Mar 1856 This Alexander Simpson is my great grand uncle. His brother is my great grandfather. He was married to Mary Ann Plourde, the sister of my great grandmother! I would be more than happy to help you as I have quite a bit of information on the Simpson line that I come from. Please let me know. Thanks for writing!
