Bio and Links
Bio Photo I recently retired from Federal Government Service where I was a cartographic computer programmer for 32 years. I am an avid reader. I enjoy gardening and fractal art in addition to my family history interests.

At the moment I am transcribing my great-great-grandfather's journal. Most of the people mentioned in it are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Charles, Missouri. I have found the on-line database of the cemetery records invaluable. The web address is: http://resource.scccld.lib.mo.us/cemetery/index.html

FAG Message Correction
In my prior message, I said "Jane Gallaher" where I meant "Elizabeth Gallaher" (Ferguson). Sorry for any confusion. Mary

FAG Transfer or Edit Request
Elizabeth Gallaher Ferguson (Find A Grave entry #102262393) is an aunt of mine, sister to my 2nd great grandmother, Jane Gallaher Martin. I notice that you have entered Elizabeth just as Jane Gallaher, so she does not come up as a Find A Grave entry if you search for her by her full married name (Ferguson).

I would suggest you add her married name to her listed name so that she comes up in searches. Also, if you are willing, I would gladly take on this memorial (and her husband's, if it is your listing as well) in my family grouping.

I had made a Find A Grave entry for Elizabeth, thinking she was not in the system, then I found a link to your listing, so I will delete my new one and wait to hear if you are willing to make a transfer. Thanks.

Greetings,
Thanks for adding her maiden name. I have been researching her and her husband.
My ancestor, Anne Anderson, was born ca. 1706 in Va. and she married James Allen of Hanover Co., Va.
If you are not related, I would be honored to take care of their memorials and add some biographical info. on them.
Sincerely,
TB Willis

Greetings:

Thank you so much for placing their memorials. Do you know of any living descendants of this couple? I am hoping to get in contact with members of this family as I have some family memorabilia that belonged to this couple and might be of interest to their descendants.

Sincerely,
T. B. Willis
