RE: Lubell
You're very welcome. I also took a photo of Violet, who was next to Herman.

I got the Sheinkop photos for you- I couldnt get the photo ceramic on Jay's to open- it was threatening to come off entirely if I pulled too hard, so I didn't want to risk it :)

I visited New Montefiore today and was able to find Lena Lubelsky for you (although the DOD is off by a few days). If you would like exact plot location info please feel free to email me.

Also, I tried to find Solomon Alpert for you but there is no record of him at New Montefiore. I noticed you have both Lena and Solomon requested at Montefiore in Queens, as well; he may be there (and, you may no longer need to keep Lena's request for that cemetery open as she is in fact in New Montefiore).

best of luck.

Plot location
Declining it was an accident and I apologize. I would like to ask that the info be in mixed case, if you don't mind. It's not required in the FAQs but other things (names, inscription) are supposed to be in mixed case and I just think it looks nicer. :)

RE: Aaron Lubell
Dear NSH,

I photographed a few other Lubell gravestones in the same section, as well as Aaron's wife, Rebecca, and her sisters, Esther and Miriam Freed. Please search "Lubell" and "Freed" in the search box for Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Your friend,

Ed Becker

To which photos are you referring?

Jacob Batt
Note: There was once a photo of Jacob that was affixed in the middle of the Star of David. It was a popular feature back in the 20's and 30's. Many have been lost to either vandalism or weather.
