Have been working on my family for 40+ years and find it very rewarding. Hoping to put it in book form someday. My family are all Northern New Yorkers from Bombay, Hogansburg and the adjoining areas and have many Canadian cousins. I live just outside Washington, D.C. and am now happily retired after 30 years at the Library of Congress. Happy to make grave transfers and corrections or additions...just email me...thanks|

Great photo. I'm a descendant of Henry's as well. I'm actually in the process of collecting material to apply for my UEL membership. If anyone has any documents on Henry you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Yes, for the past 8 yrs I've nearly obsessively saw to it that Madison County's dearly departed are ALL memorialized, over 100,000 mems for the county are done and the entire county is almost done, I've found though, that nearly every cemetery has at least 10% unmarked (in some cases 22%) Any other transfers, let me know. You have a page for Alexander & Eliza Ann Gallinger in St. George's Anglican Church Cemetery in Gallingertown. You note you do not know eliza Ann's maiden name. It is Pitts. Her father Robert Pitts, mother Morilla Eamer. This form the marriage record. They were married 4 Dec. 1879.
Do you happen to know why Alexander's parents are?
Glad to help you.
that website has helped alot .......
glad i could share it
I looked last night at the greenwood site to see if i could find obits for them......there was one named but no obit........darn it......
greenwood has lots of obit from the petoskey news review....they took their micro film and put the obits on their site....
so if you need obits for other family members it might be a site for you.......
the site is www.gwood.us ....then you go to the genealogical research tab and put in the last name your looking for and it will give you any that they have .......if it is highlighted blue they have one just click on the name and walla......but if it is black they dont have one......
