I am a Psychologist and a "hobby" Genealogist for over 30 years. I do all of the genealogy for my family and have helped many friends get started on their own path to finding their ancestors.|
I love Genealogy! Let me assist you in your search in my area. It can bring a great deal of peace and joy when researching who you are and where you came from.
I presently live in Okinawa, Japan. I can help you with photos of headstones in Okinawa.

|Roberta Parks Groner||Paces of Ridgeway Descendents|
Hi--- saw your note when getting info up to send a descendent of Nancy Pace who contacted me. I am daughter of Robert N Groner, son of Mary Carter Pace (Groner, Albro,), daughter of James Baker Pace, (of Richmond Paces) who was son of Greenville T. Pace, (of Martinsville and later Danville)who was son of John and brother to James Baker Pace, and Jermine Pace, Mother was the infamous Polly Baker Pace per the records.
Any help you can give me that is provable by other than heresay or poor local records will be appreciated!!!

I am direct descendent of Greentree T. Pace who moved to Martinsville and ran a tavern-then joined with his brother (? as I understand his relationship.) in Danville for Pace Brother's Warehouse and his son James B. Pace was my Daddy's grandfather and had moved to Richmond with a Pace tobacco wear house.
Please let me know your line of descent. Do you know the others descended from Greentree? I am desperately searching cousins with family stories and pictures!!! My 2 great grandfather (Greentree) was married 3 times and the first wife (Mother of James Baker Pace) died while he was in Martinsville---but I cannot find definite proof or her name and a burial place. You can reach me at DixieGBT3@aol and I will call you or send you my phone number so we can talk!!!
I did meet the nice cousin that lives at the Pace Farm site where the Pace Family Cemetery is located.
