Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing family research for many years. About half of the memorials that I manage are my ancestors. However, if you are more closely related than I am, I will gladly transfer the memorial to you even if it doesn't fall within F.A.G. guidelines. I love to see bios, pictures and links added by others.

My only reason for adding memorials is to preserve my family history and assist others that might be searching for an ancestor's final resting place. Find A Grave has been a wonderful source for me. Discovering my ancestors stories and life events then sharing them for all who come after me has been an enlightening as well as a fulfilling experience.

In my quest to find my ancestors, I may have added someone from your family. If I have and you would like to have the memorial transferred, or if you want me to remove it, please don't hesitate to let me know. I believe memorials should be in the hands of relatives no matter how close the relationship. It is always my pleasure to transfer a memorial to a family member. All you need to do is just ask.

You are welcome to use any photos that I have posted. No need to ask permission.

Please use the edit tab when requesting corrections, additions or transfers. This makes it easier for me to process your request.

Heartfelt thanks to the many contributors who have so graciously transferred family memorials to me.

Hi Betsy, yes we know and decided to just leave 'as is' so she can be found under either name. I did mean to make a note on the bios though, so thanks for the reminder. Or . . . we may eventually merge - someone is bound to complain to Findagrave about a duplicate sooner or later.

RE: David & Willie Mae Setliffe
I can do that. So glad you enjoyed the photos. I'm doing a simple book on our family - trying to gather stories, photos and samples of each person's writing - to do a more extended family tree. These people were so important in my life yet my children didn't really know them. I hate to see the essence of these special individuals fade. I found a slim volume while cleaning out my Grandmother's house after her death. It was an autobiography of her Great Uncle, a Methodist Circuit Rider in the 1800's. It was amazing - his account of being a chaplain during the Civil War with The Dickson Boys. I thought, Every life should be encapsulated in 50 pages - so those that come after can look back and be as amazed as I was by Jeremiah Cullom's account. Thanks Betsy! We are cat people too. I think we'd enjoy one another! Cheers, Mary Margaret Fussell Dykes

Sure. I'm not exactly certain what that means - but I'll keep track of their postings. Aunt Willie Mae and Uncle Bert were very special in my life. Thank you very much for your efforts so far.

Cheers,
Mary Margaret

Managing Memorials
Hey Betsy - thanks for your good work. You've already helped me! I would be more than happy to do whatever needs doing on my family pages. I'm not sure what that means - I guess putting up with people like me - sending in more information. Yes - Willie Mae was my Aunt.

If you could tell me what is involved - I'd be happy to help. I so enjoy genealogy and keeping alive the memory of the wonderful people on whose shoulders I stand.

Cheers,
Mary Margaret

I am the son of Samuel F. Dillard and Ora Lee Cole Dillard. I did not know anyone had listed my father on Find A Grave. I have been a member of Find A Grave for a few years and only recently had both my greatgrandfather James Marion Dillard and Lizzie Dillard transferred to me. I am getting up in age but if you wanted to transfer my father and mother to me I would be pleased to accept. Are you a relative? You may contact me at: dillard_seq@yahoo.com

RE: Emily Dillard
A group of us who are under the William Robert Love Dillard tree are working on getting everyone linked, straightened out. My husband's GG Grandfather is David Jasper who married Missouri Jones. Robert who married Lizzie Jones is his twin line, 2 brothers married two sisters, not real twins. Which line are you from?
