 | John Asbury Booth Adam, The photo of the grave you provided is for a different John Asbury Booth. there were three. the one I wanted was of a boy who died when he was 7.
Here are my notes on all 3 JAB's. The second one is who I'm looking for. Thanks.
BOOTH, JOHN ASBURY [John James Booth, James Booth, Thomas Booth], son of John James Booth and Olive Holmes. Born September 19, 1840. Volunteer Confederate soldier, died while in the Army on June 6, 1863 and was buried at Corinth, Miss. SHB BOOTH, JOHN ASBURY [James Thomas Booth, John James Booth, James Booth, Thomas Booth], son of James Thomas Booth and Clarkey Hux. Born April 28, 1865, died February 16, 1872. Buried at Poplar. SHB BOOTH, JOHN ASBURY [Nelson Julius Booth, James Nelson Booth, James Booth, Thomas Booth], son of Nelson Julius Booth and Louisa E. Anderson. Asbury was born Jan. 21, 1875 and was first married to Ada Jollie. Ada was born April 30, 1877 and died Oct. 16, 1903. She is buried at the Woodlawn Cemetery (off SR 323, owned by Good Hope Baptist Church). Asbury was reared in the Good Hope community where he farmed. In his early years he was a foreman for the railroad company. Children: Solomon Mack Jessie Oliver Ruby Madge After Ada's death Asbury married Mary Sessions on Sept. 5, 1905. Mary was born March 5, 1888, the daughter of Ransom and Frances Sessions. Asbury died Oct. 12, 1945 and Mary died May 3, 1978. They are buried at Poplar. Children: Harry Asbury | | | Michelle Kirby
