RE: Hello !, from an old corresponder
Dear Rosie;

Yes, I did a DNA test in Jan,2015
If we could put them side by side maybe we will
be able to match other Vandine/Vandyne,etc

Sorry but on the DNA, I have read how to read it
but can't figure out how to !!!!!!!!!

I know the old "" is no longer run-
ing but the old postings are still there under
[I forget] ??
There is a posting I did on the Brooklyn Forge
& Sundry store ledger 1790 to 1793 ? I think.
I have copys of Vandine, etc doing business with
the store.

The names of the Vandine, etc are the very names
of those in early western PA,the panhandle of
WV 7 eastern Ohio.

Are you aware of this ?

J J Miller
Hi Rosie, I see you have added a picture for J J Miller also, he was my great grandfather so I am wondering if you are related also or how you came by the picture? It is a great picture and I am so happy to be able to see another image of him. Thank-you

RE: Johnson Family Cemetery
Thanks for your note. The article in GMNJ is the basis for most of the memorials I created there. This is supplemented by my own research and visits to the site at different times over the last 30-40 years (I live a few miles away).

If you have any questions about specific memorials, please don't hesitate to send me a note through the edit function at the memorial in question using the "Suggest any other edit or correction" option.

Best regards,
Joe Klett

Shepherd (Seward) Farm Cemetery
I did find the cemetery. It is near the Beckett Ridge Golf course, about 2 miles from my house and from where find a grave says it is. The first day I went there, there were workmen working on fence and around cemetery so I did not to in. Second time I went bad storms got there same time I did, and I did not walk up to cemetery. I had knee operation 5 weeks ago and just now getting up and around. Was going to put flags on graves on 4th of July, but could not make it. I am going to make it back there before the end of summer!

Matthew Vandyne 1752-1837
Have you made any progress in finding Matthew's parents?
Bob VanDyne of Kansas feels we need to concentrate on lines for Abraham 1699-1750 and Isaac 1706.
You might also want to check out my website to see if you want to update any of the info you previously provided.

Agnes Bradshaw
I have made the corrections that you suggested for Agnes Bradshaw's grave memorial. She is my three greats grandmother. I would like to correspond about our common family history. If you are interested, my e-mail address is Deb

Shepherd (Seward) Farm Cemetery
I see a photo of Matthew Van Dine (VanDuyn) you might have taken of his headstone. The Shepherd (Seward) Farm Cemetery GPS location is in the the
neighborhood I live in. I live about 100 yards from the GPS location of cemetery. Homes there now. Is headstone in location of the West Chester Forest neighborhood next Grey Fox Road? I am a member of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. I am doing a survey of Revolutionary Graves in Butler County, Ohio. I am try to find the real location of his headstone and to mark it! I have not walked looking for headstone yet because on private property. The homeowners between GPS location are never out or around, plus there are two dogs! There are tree and a lot of underbrush there. If you can confirm location I will try to proceed and mark grave. Thanks in advance for you help.
