RE: John F Willis
Connie, In response to your message about the birth date of John F Willis I cannot give you a true answer at this time. I have looked at the pictures which I made of the headstone, and I cannot say for certain what the date is. I will go back to that grave site as soon as possible and see if I can make a determination concerning the date on the headstone.

RE: Revell Graves
Hi Connie,

I did find another Revell in the cemetery and photographed the grave. I believe his name was Robert. I uploaded that photograph as well.

When I couldn't locate the graves, I called the Forgartyville Cemetery Association and they directed me to the two graves that are photographed. You may want to call them directly. Best of luck!

RE: Theron and Comella Revell
I emailed my sister, who is not always an accurate historian. However, she reports that Theron and Comella had plots in the southside of Manasota, in the "new section". However, she said that Linda had Aunt Comella cremated and unsure if the ashes were ever interred.

Per my sister, you can find Uncle Theron's headstone at Manasota.

We are not actually related. Aunt Comella and my mother grew up next door to each other from birth. They were best friends. I thought of Aunt Comella as my "other mother" and Comella is my middle name.

RE: Theron and Comella Revell
Hi Connie:

Curtis is buried on the Revell plot at Fogartyville cemetery, I remember the funeral. Uncle Theron is next to him and Aunt Comella should be there, as well.

Uncle Theron and Aunt Comella bought a 4-plot burial section when I was in my teens. They wanted to be near my parents (Westberry) and Uncle Harley (Phillips).

The Phillips plot has 12 burial spaces and the Westberry plot has 8. My parents Edith (Phillips) & Clifford Westberry are buried there.

In the Phillips plot is Paul Alvah Phillips (my grandafther), Paul Harley Phillips ( my uncle) and Robert Franklin Phillips ( my uncle) and Probably my recently deceased uncle, James Hiram Phillips.

The Revell plot is to the right of my parents, near the fence, close to the road.

RE: James Neal McDuffie tombstone
Connie, I am MOST interested in your information. Contact me at and I can invite you to take a look at my Ancestry tree. Or you can simply send me what you know. Either way I am most anxious to know as I am a McDuffie!
