|I have always been interested in genealogy and there are always those of us who find it fulfilling to visit friends and family burial sites, from time to time. This is an excellent way of doing it without the travel. And if you do travel, you can find them easier when you have some information like you find here.|
Anyone wishing to have a memorial transferred to them, need only state your relationship and fill out the edit with a request.Make sure to submit all corrections using the Edit tab. If you are a family member, I will typically transfer the memorial to you. You know more about the individual then I do. I just ask that if someone who is even closer to that individual reaches out to you, pay it forward and transfer the memorial to them! I welcome any new information that helps make my entries easier to follow, more informative, or to correct some error that I may have made.
And, by all means, you may use any of my photos as I have purposely taken them for YOU.
I am especially interested in knowing/contacting anyone with knowledge of the family of Campbell. That would include members of the Cornell family with roots in Wapakoneta Oh or Lima, OH area.

The account of the older memorial is disabled ; I can't post edits for corrections or suggestions.
As the primary objective of FindAGrave is to archive grave sites, I do not wish to delete my memorial in favor of a memorial listing "burial unknown".
Please let me know if or when the "J" account is reactivated.
I have a lot of information for you on the Eric family. Harold is at Cherokee. He is buried next to John Jr.(139154230). His wife, however, isn't there. The cemetery suggested that since she was a Crowley from Galt, there's a good chance she is in a family plot there. (The lady knew his daughter, Sherry, in High School so she had some good info.) I also found Milton (139155436). Buried to his right is a Dolly Erich (139155470). The birth year is similar enough that it's very possible that she is his wife. The two spaces to the left of him are Katie (139155451) and Walter (139155463). With their dates of birth, it is entirely possible that Milton is their son. I also stumbled across two other Erich's, John (139159314) and Doris (139159331). Since he is John W and the person to Harold's right is John W Jr, I'm thinking these are his parents. I added memorials for all of them with photos. Please let me know if you'd like me to transfer management to you.

Sorry - I picked the only option listed with my Uncle's name and dates at that time. Now I can see two with identical references. I'm traveling now and unable to check paper documents but will take care of this when I get back home. Again, sorry for error, but as I said, the second St Joseph's didn't come up when I made original entry.

He is in St Joseph not the pioneer cemetery

The chick you were asking to help you with "John Rasmussen" is either deaf, dead or doesn't care.
John Alton Rasmussen, my father wasn't the man you were looking for "2nd LT". He did serve in the AAF WWII 'tho.
I've been trying and trying every year since 2011 to get MY family transferred to me for correction and comfort. But NO! She hasn't let go of them, would answer, etc.
What's a woman to do when she has helped lots of others get their loved ones in the proper care, edit faithfully when asked, taken photos of strangers, BUT can't even get her immediate family in her care!!

Ha, just read your profile and your research interests. I'm from Lima. Don't have any of the names you're interested in as part of my tree, but I'll be sure to keep this in mind. :D

I totally understand and Philip & Esther are my 4x great grandparents (through dau Rosanna and her dau Mary J Keel Sigler) so it's important to me to see correct information as well. Lots of info in the book I referenced on pages 862 & 863. John Keel and kin are referenced on pg 859 if that's of interest to you. Here's the link, my new cousin: :)

I am working on entering cemetery records from Washington Township Permit books onto an Excel spreadsheet and it shows that Julia's interment date was October 3, 1911. Her Find A Grave record shows Nov 3, 1911 as her date of death. Could this be an incorrect entry I have in the book? Do you have any documentation to show that she died in November? I would be interested in finding this out so that the correct information is put on the spreadsheet.

The flag that went up for me was the marriage date of 14 Dec 1893 conflicts with the birth date of 1882. That would mean that she was married at the age of 11 years and had her first child at 14 (which could be possible but unlikely).
The U S Census for 1880 shows Ada as an 8 year old with a bit of confusion, Charles is the father, but the mother is Mary both at the correct ages to match the Find A Grave. https://familysearch.org /pal:/MM9.1.1/M8ST-SQ4 I did not go farther in to this questionable information.
I then checked the U S Census and found that in 1900 U S Census she was 28 yrs old meaning she was born in 1872. https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-266-11815-42518-43?cc=1325221 Here the U S Census also states that she was born in Jun 1872; has been married for 7 years and has 3 living children out of 4 births. Look at the original census for 1900 to see the details.
In 1920 U S Census she is 47 yrs meaning she was born in 1873 https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1
In 1930 U S Census she is 56 yrs meaning she was born in 1874 https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/X4CV-HBX
The variant in year born is normal for census studies.
While most times the grave stones are correctly labeled it does happen that they might not be correct. In this case I feel she was born in 1872 not 1882 and the grave stone is incorrectly made due to multiple U S Census records and the very young age for her marriage (also confirmed in the 1900 census)
I hope this explains why I think she was born in 1872
