I'm a native of Franklin County, Maine, and now live in Piscataquis County. I am working on researching my ancestors in the Hoar, Wright, Spaulding, Marston, Pillsbury & Toothaker lines, as well as my wife's families- Davis, Hammond & Waugh. I enjoy researching ancestors and linking families through Find A Grave.|
I will transfer memorials and make any corrections at your request.

|Robert Hodsdon||Regarding bowley memorials|
I was wondering if when you took the photos of the bowley children of Isaac and Mary Bowley in the school house cemetery in Rangeley if you happen to come across their parents stone Mary Dunham Bowley and Isaac Bowley. It seems like the parents would be buried there as well. If they are not would you be able to locate a cemetery in the area where they are buried for me. I would love photos of my 3rd great-grandparents. Thank you so much

Hi: The bowley's which I have requested from you to transfer over to me are all children of my 3rd great-grandmother Mary Jane Dunham Bowley and siblings to my 2nd great-grandmother Emma Bowley Kimball. I have loads of updating to do on their pages and have done a lot of work with my bowley family and would like to keep these memorials in the family.
Thank you so much

Thank you for the updates. Mabel Estelle (Knowles) Doughty, the daughter of Arthur and Gertrude, is alive on Chebeague Island, Maine, age 92 years. I linked her parents to her late husband Sanford Doughty. Both Mabel and Sanford have been distinguished residents of Chebeague Island, since Mabel first came as a camp counselor and married Sanford.

Wayne. I did not physically find the grave site. I asked the wife of her son Jerry Lane (Arline) and was assured that she is buried with her late husband Clifton, not @ Mt Pleasant with Roy Lane her first husband as I suspected. The obituary did not state place of burial. Guess I could check with town office if I can find a number. They should have a record of burial. Ray

Oh that's fine! I just don't know where the name had come from. I didn't know there was a flat stone. The photos were posted for me after I made the memorials & I no longer live in Maine, so I've never been to the cemetery. Thank you for creating the memorials!
|Stacie Massengill||Vira Libby Moor|
John H & Nellie Libby were my 3x great grandparents. I sent you an edit for their daughter Vira Libby. I have her birth record & there is no middle initial of L. The L on her headstone should be for Libby. Another thing I noticed is that you have the infant son 1908-1908 listed as Louis. I have not been able to find any record of his birth or death so far. Did you happen to get the name from the cemetery records? Thanks so much!

Oops, sorry. You are right. Ignore the edit

At the French Mills cemetery in Sangerville you photographed some stones of the Lucien French family. Are you related or do you know anyone who is? I"m trying to find the parents of Moses F. French, who had a daughter, Julia. He was b. 1826 to 1830 in Maine. He moved to PA. thank you.
