There have been many people that have helped me by placing grave stone photos on here that has helped me with the work on my family tree, so I felt I needed to also do what I can to help others that are in the same boat I am. Far from home and no way to look it up other than someone taking a photo for them and posting it! The closest to me is Osteen Cemetery & Osteem Memorial Gardens but there are a few others I pass from time to time so a few requests may take longer to get to then others. As I get them I will post the new ones!|
On March 18, 2011 at Osteen Memorial Gardens I photographed every plot I found and they are listed with images however there were about 12 that were nothing but a concrete slab and the marker was blank or not there at all. A few are not very readable as well. If I ever find out which is which I will add those images to the names. There is a couple very large Above ground concrete tombs that I could not find names on or markers to know if it is a place where one person in each were burried or several that ashes were put in so I did not list those. If anyone knows let me know and I will add them to the list.
On March 6, 2011 at Osteen Cemetery I photographed every reamining headstone I ran out of daylight to photograph on December 31. 2010. Many markers were falling appart or just a small piece remaining. If I can find an original (or copy of) the plot list I will get the other images taken and named for the ones that I can not read.
On April 27, 2013 I photographed the "Saints" section of what is listed as "Saints & Sinners Cemetery" in Oak Hill, FL. It turns out that these are in fact TWO separate locations and I only went to the one area. I will at some time try to go back and get the other.
On July 6, 2013 I photographed every stone in Lake Helen Cemetery. It will take a while to get them up because it appears that I have about 800 Images and there are only about 600 in the cemetery so I have a lot to add. Few are unreadable compared to some of the others I have photographed.
Any of the images I took you can ask me and I will send you the large image so you can use it on a family tree or e-mail it to a relative.

My husband is the fifth grandson of Erasmus down the line from Charles William. We have been looking for other descendants of Erasmus for years and had about given up. Which line do you descend from? Looking forward to conversing with you.

Thanks for letting me know about the name on that stone. I was up there a few months ago doing pictures for Billion Graves, but I only got the older stones, not the newer ones. It really is a bigger cemetery than I expected.

Thanks you for your quick response and link info. It was your findagrave entry that prompted me to contact you and your link to the Virginia site has provided me with the confirmation that I was looking for. Until now, I was just going on process of elimination and conjecture. Thanks for helping in my research!

Lucy is not directly related to me, but believe that she married my great great uncle Abraham "Abram" H Warner, born 1848 and died sometime before 1930. Do you have ANY information pertaining to him ... marriage documentation, his death info??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am just wondering is her mother is the same Anna Maria Thomas I have that was born June 8, 1796 who's parents are Gabriel Thomas & Anna Maria Remsburg?
My Anna Maria was daughter of Leonhardt & Barbara Yost Thomas and was born Dec. 2, 1799. Honestly haven't spent much time at all on the Thomas family, but would imagine the 2 Anna Maria's are no doubt related somehow.

You are very welcome. I'm glad I could help. What would you like me to do with the additional pictures?

I just posted two of the pics I took this morning of the Johnson headstones. Unfortunately the stones are very worn, Sarah's more than Erasmus'. To the right of their stones was a stone for Lucy J. Johnson, wife of A. H. Warner - 1854-1935. I took a picture of that also. It's in better shape than the other two.
The three stones are side by side ... left to right: Sarah, Erasmus, Lucy. There were no other Johnson stones nearby but in the row in front of these three, and to the left, was a large stone for George W. Curl 1832-1936 and Virginia G. Curl 1846-1920. Since you listed Sarah's maiden name as Kurl, I thought perhaps these might be her parents (or at least family) so I took a pic of that stone also.
Please let me know what you'd like me to do with the additional pics.

I am having a moment of stupidity but I cannot bring up Charlie's grave. Would you send me the link? Thanks, Kay

That is probably likely but I can't find Charles. If you will send me that, I will make a correction. Thanks, Kay
