|Phil Micret||Akey thanks and correction|
For the page of Fred Akey buried at Holy Name Cemetery Clinton County New York, USA there is an obituary. Do you know what paper that is from? The paper says (and is noted above) he was born in Swastika, NY when I believe it should read he was born on Swastika Road, Town of Black Brook, New York. Thanks. Phil
Hello. I am a relative of Fred Akey who is buried in Holy Name Cemetery Clinton County New York, USA.
Have you come across other information on Akey (or Ethier) in your research? Thanks! Phil

Henry born 1857 and Edward were brothers. I had help from women name Laura who have a book of genealogy. she looks in. He is buried in Holy Name Cemetery, which is right across the street from my sisters road. She lives on Separator Road, I was born way up on the hill there. All the house are gone now. My grandmother deliver me.
I know both Henry are in that cemetery. I have a family tree in ancestry.com, under he name of Beverly Paquin Iovino tree. you can look at

looking at the record in here, I am confused, My grandfather was Walter LaBombard son of Edward Labombard, which you stated is the son of Henry born 1857, but I have his father born 1839, who also is name Henry, so can you help me if this confusing information.
|Ann Garczynski||Ruth Horrigan|
My husband is the grandson of Ruth Horrigan. Thank you for creating her memorial. If possible, I can give you her date of death to add to that memorial. Thank you.
|Christie Trapp||North Jay Cemetery - Henry Joy|
I have found two separate references for Henry's cemetery marker date of death.
One is the actual obituary which was published on Dec. 5, 1935, which was a Thursday. In the article it says he "died last Saturday morning," which puts the death to be Nov. 30, 1935. He was buried Dec. 2, 1935.
In a published transcription from 1963, the author had typed his year of death to be 1955. Obviously, this year of death is incorrect. This information is on the Heritage Quest books.
I'm hoping that the heatwave in your area has abated somewhat and that you might have the time to return to the cemetery to take another photograph, but from a much lower level and perhaps you can hand scrape off (please don't scratch or disfigure the grave), the lichen to get a clear shot of the dates on his marker so that it clearly (if possible) shows the dates and then add to his memorial on Find A Grave. If a clear picture isn't possible, perhaps running your hand over the dates might reveal the year of death and you can forward that confirmation via email.
