RE: Essie Bryant McClure
Most all the info and pictures I have and have shared came from my Great Aunt Evelyn Peck-White. Daughter of Annie Heinrich and Franklin Peck. She shared so much with me over the years before her death in 2010. I live in California but go back to Oklahoma to visit my Mother and Sister every year. My Mom and I would go visit Evelyn on every visit. I really miss her. She had things written down and she had an awesome memory. Good reconnecting... Sandi

You might not remember but we have connected and exchanged info on Ancestry. My Grandfather was Frederick Peck, brother to Lucy Lena Peck Bryant. My Great Grand Parents were Annie Heinrich and Franklin Peck. Isn't Find A Grave a wonderful addition to Ancestry?? Glad to reconnect... Sandi

Thought you would want to know a lady from the Daughters of American Revolution in Texas has contacted our local DAR chapter requesting work and and a REV WAR Marker for Levi Casey's wife Sarah buried in this cemetery. Our DAR referred it to the cemetery committee who met today and a decision was made that the Casey cemetery is first priority due to condition of graves. A field day has been scheduled for Nov 1 and I will be there. Once the cemetery is restored I expect DAR will place a marker and possibly have a dedication ceremony. Anyone wanting more details please email me clynndel@comcast.net
In case you don't know the cemetery has been neglected it is in a remote location and access limited. A while back the cemetery was vandalized and assumed robbed due to large holes left where graves should be. Most of the headstones are broken and illegible. This cemetery was in danger of being lost. We hope to bring it back
