|Derry Bennett Creutz||Mary Francis Caskey|
Hello, I am a relative with information leading you back to the Murphy Line that Mary Francis descended from. If you wish to contact me to obtain more information, I am at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would gladly welcome speaking with you, and I would like your permission to use her photo in my information if possible.

If you look at the photo of the Wilson family reunion in the 1920s the photo you have looks a lot more like the brother on the far left than it does the man in the center with glasses. Just wondering.
btw, I now have Sarah's death certificate which doesn't enlighten me at all. It's signed by son Ben.

I also have Sarah as a dead end. The only information I have (so far) is a bit of the data on her death certificate. I do not have the original...but I'm working on it. From the Mormon data base, I have only this:
Name: Sarah E. Wilson
Death Date: 18 Jan 1928
Death Age: 83 years 1 month 5 days
Birth date: 13 Dec 1844
Marital Status: Widowed
FATHER'S BIRTHPLACE: Griffen (This is a mystery)
Burial Date: 19 Jan 1928
Then they list their image numbers, but say the image is no longer available. I'm working on this. I found a "Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia", but no Adcocks listed. Does your dad know where George Wilson was born? His parents I have as Joseph Wilson and Polly Stuart (or Stewart).
I cannot find Wilsons in the census lists that match Joseph and Polly's families in Georgia.
I found their marriage (with Polly's last name as Stuart) in Lumpkin County, Georgia on December 26, 1835.
The Wilsons are my dead ends also. Especially the Adcocks. I'm still looking however. You have inspired me to dig on them as I have not focused on that part of the family.
Let me know if you have anything.

Thank you for the grave photo. I truly appreciate it.
If I can help with history from my side, just let me know.
|D. W. Short||RE: Sarah Wilson photo|
Dear "Cousin" Lisa:
I have the original photograph of Sarah Adcock Wilson. I am the great-granddaughter of Mollie Mable Wilson Tinkle. The photograph passed from Mollie to my grandmother Cadda Mable Tinkle West, and from there to my father James Tinkle West and finally to me. It was clearly identified in my grandmother's handwriting as her grandmother Wilson.
I do not, however, have a photograph of her grave and don't know where George Wilson is buried, but I assume (big word) it is next to Sarah. If you have any family photos, I'd LOVE to see some of them, and I happily share any I have with you.
The old photo of the Wilson house came from one of the Navarro County Historical Assn. books.
Can I help you?
