I began my journey to find more out about my family on both sides, McLain and Staats. And in the process of looking for tombstones of family, my wife and I decided that if we were going to request photos we should be willing to take photos for others. We enjoy doing this and very Thankful for the volunteers who help us. My search has really expanded, many myths were exposed but many more truths came to surface and I am very proud to be a small part in the history of my families.

Thank You!
Hey Jerry,

Thanks for taking the Jividen grave photos. I've only been to the Rock Church Cemetery once and that was at least 20 years ago. The monuments seem to be wearing well. I forgot to request a photo of Thurman Jividen's other son's grave. Maybe you'll pick up that request also. I hope so. These photos are great!

Thanks again,

Bruce

Jerry! You found it! I drove 200 miles to that cemetery to photograph her stone and couldn't find it anywhere--so I just took pictures of the other stones. I appreciate very much you taking the time to photograph it and place it on her site. She was my 3xg-grandaunt.

Do you happen to remember where it was in the cemetery, so that if I go back I can leave flowers?

RE: Wing Tombstone
You're very welcome! If you determine it's him & you would like a transfer - don't hesitate to let me know. Could do it already if you wish and feel it's likely him. Just let me know! :) Kim

RE: Wing Tombstone
It very well could be. I double checked the records and it lists him as Eliha B (I mistakenly had put Elisha). There are lots of errors/misspellings in these records - either from the original entry or from transcriptions. What ittle additional info I have: Age 45, interred 10-14-1904.

We're currently working on a survey of this cemetery so keep your eyes on it - we might find a stone which could shed additional light.
