Sorry had a senior moment hit that dam enter key.

I just happened to stumble over Otis Parkurst, Jr. stone that I took about a year ago. Forgot I had it

If you want it let me know and I'll post it, it is a little bit clearer than the one you have.

I just got lucky taking the picture those slate stones are sometimes hard to get a clear picture of
Regards
Roger

Re: Isaac Wright
Thank you very much for the excellent reply. I've included your information on Isaac Wright's memorial, and made the connection to Elizabeth as his mother.

Isaac Wright
Hi,

Received your suggested edit making Elizabeth Wright (1781-1867) #58124163 the mother of Isaac Wright (1812-1887) #71209335, but can find no census or obit info to support it (or even family trees). Can you point us toward something in this regard? We hope it's correct, and would love to make the connection. All the best.

I received your suggestion and I believe you to be correct. I am deep in the middle of some other research. Please give me a little time to review what you sent before I add the information and links.

Western Cemetery has 4 interment books covering the years 1874-1923. I own a set that I purchased a couple of years ago and they have become invaluable for my research. If you need anyone looked up let me know.

I actually found Martin Aler's information in some Fold3 documents and John W. Clark appears as a witness for Martin's widow.

I thought that maybe if I found his obit it would have his middle name or that of his mother. But no such luck. I found the obit in the Davenport Dem and leader -- would be glad to send it to you if you wish. Let me know.

Sorry, but I'm unable at this time to find the grave and photograph it.
